Chris Horner is available and I am sure is very cheap. He also fits the TCS age profile. :D
Probably a more wiling dom than Majka for Contador :D
Seriously, I hope someone from a pro-team would sign him. I'm not even a fan, but seeing him in the pro-peloton always makes me smile. :D

Seriously Duarte & Plaza are free and not bad options

It seems so strange to me to have the world champion & best rouler in the world and to have lost nearly all his support

You have the best GT rider who wants to target his final 2 GTs ( Tour & Vuelta) and not have enough good top doms

Its like wearing a diamond tiara with a house coat, apron & trainers.

Tinkov doesn't seem to understand .....you go all in or you go home
Sometimes I feel Uncle Oleg is scaring all potential signings away with his crazy antics, on the other hand it can't be too bad if riders like Tosatto, Bennati, Rogers, Contador, experienced riders who won't take this crap, extend their contracts. Although maybe because they are experienced and "don't take ****" they can just ignore the crazy Uncle.
Or maybe Oleg says "I know where your family lives & I have friends"

Oleg is the only one crazy enough to sign random or semi-retired riders so we rely on him for the daily lulz. I'd love to see him signing Ballan, Horner, Cobo and even JTL. :D

Kittel to EQS is now official, I imagine Sabatini will be his lead out man with Trentin as second to last. Given EQS's lead out issues with Cav I'll be interested to see how Kittel does when his train fights against Lotto, Dimension Data, Giant and Sky on occasion. Looking forward to Dubai which should provide a good battle of the trains.

Finished:
Sky: 29 riders (final team)
AG2R: 29 riders (final team)
IAM: 28 riders (final team)
Etixx: 28 riders (29 with Richeze and what looks like the final team)
Cannondale: 27 riders (final team?)

Not finished yet:
FDJ: 26 riders
Katusha: 26 riders (but Paolini and Caruso are not safe, maybe they want couple of replacements.. another climber/puncheur for Purito and a classics rider for Kristoff)
Lotto: 25 riders (could need another climber)
Lotto Jumbo: 24 riders (perhaps another climber now Ten Dam is leaving?)
Movistar: 24 riders (already strong, but maybe they want a real leader for the classics such as Oss)
Tinkoff-Saxo: 24 riders (only 23 if Basso isn't riding, needs both climbers and rouleurs)
Astana: 22 riders
Orica: 22 riders
Trek: 21 riders
Giant: 20 riders (need climbers)
BMC: 20 riders
Lampre: 16 riders

Santaromita linked to Astana. Him and Nibali are apparently very good friends and training partners. Maybe he could help him winning Liege.

So you say for Nibali to win Liège, Santaromita is the missing piece? :D

Yeah! They should follow the same formular as in Lombardia. Go for a long training ride before riding a Monument. Maybe Nibali will also try to ride Tour of Flanders.

Is Flanders just reckless speculation, or is there actually something to it? Couldnt imagine it since he most likely will be riding Giro.

With Nibali, you never know. It would be a pleasant surprise. He is an unorthodox rider. He could co-lead with Boom who I think is better made for the flat cobbles of Roubaix.

Don't know why many are actually taking what Oleg says seriously on Twitter. Next year Majka is expected to ride both Tour and Vuelta just like this year. Both Tinkoff Bank and Saxo Bank are not willing to spend a lot of money on someone and the priority right now is Sagan who lost Matti, Michael and Chris. So pretty much is just about two signings for Peter and a neo pro. Heard they're after a good GC U23 rider who has many WT contract offers but doesn't want to turn pro yet. So basically don't expect much or anything…

I doubt that. They need a man for the Giro and I'm sure Majka wants to lead a GT.

Majka is going to lead a GT next year and that's the Vuelta. I'm not really sure of their plans for the Giro but it's Tour and Vuelta for Majka and only Tour for Alberto. Again, don't really take Oleg seriously with the things he says on twitter, he just loves to troll people there. Alberto is not expected to ride Vuelta, he will only ride it if the UCI team classification is in play but he doesn't really like riding it, even if it is his home race.

If that's the truth, their Giro team is going be very shallow. Maybe they are focusing on stage wins for Sagan then?

Leukemans for Sagan would be a good and probably cheap signing.
Yes, that would be nice. Wanty didn't want to extend his contract but he wants to continue.

Surely he's doing California-Suisse as per usual?

Yeah, that would make most sense.

Could be funny if Tinkoff is showing up without a team at the Giro. :D

Irish prospect Eddie Dunbar joins Axeon from NFTO.

I wonder what's happening with NFTO. They were supposed to go up to pro conti, but have lost von Hoff and now Dunbar, their best current and future riders, and there's no talk of going up any more.

They mustn't have managed to get hold of the money they hoped to have. It will be hard for them to do so now, with ONE in place as a British Pro Conti outfit, better positioned to attract sponsorship and able to poach riders.

That's a very good move for Dunbar, by the way. There was talking of him being signed by a WT team, but he's just way too young. Axeon are geared towards developing young rider and can offer Dunbar a much better calendar than any British Conti team can. Those teams simply don't take part in enough high quality races. An Post on the other hand do take part in more high quality races, but mostly of the flat, windy or cobbled lowland variety. At Axeon he'll actually get a race calendar involving good races with real climbs, which is exactly what he needs.
