Kanger could move in 2017 when his current contract expires with Astana. Kirsipuu hinted that he might want to try something else than just work for Italians on mountains.

So today was supposed to be the day Europcar had a new sponsor by or the riders could speak to other teams...

So who's Coquard's lead out man at AG2R? Rolland will be Costa's Super Domestic, Dan Craven will end up on one of the British Pro Conti teams and Tommy V might go to Bret or retire.

Don't think so. He will be the leader in a GT. And why would Rolland be super domestic to Costa, who is a less good climber than Rolland in the high mountains.

One of the reasons why he might move is because he wants to have more chances to ride himself. So I don't think it's going to be Sky.

Movistar would be a nice fit for him if the rumours of Intxausti and Izaguirre brothers leaving are confirmed.

I think Taaramäe is more likely to go to some smaller WT team where he can be at least a co-leader in races he targets. Highly unlikely that he wants to be a pure domestique in some other superteam. Then he might as well stay in Astana.

Before the start of the season, he did express a hope, that being in the WT team, he can do some races he hadn't done before, specially mentioning Italian races as Cofidis didn't get invites there. At Astana, he ended up doing a Tour-centered season again. Chance to ride races like Tirreno or Giro might therefore be quite important in determining his final decision.

Which would still leave him behind Valverde and Quintana, who the team will support far more, so if they offer him a token bid for the Giro his team is unlikely to include many of their top climbing domestiques for support.

Thing is he is way to inconsistent to be signed as a leader..too much of gamble for many teams I guess, the big teams can pay him well as a perfect dom but of course for a price of him having less chances himself. Hopefully he'll have another chance, but with his usual sicknesses any team taking him as a leader on WT circuit is taking a huge gamble.

Maybe you're right, but I think this year their Giro's roster included more climbing depth, than their TdF roster. Intxausti, Ion Izagirre, Amador, Visconti and so on.

Nonetheless, I don't think Taaramae's achievements in the biggest cycling races so far are making him entitled to demand leading a top-line squad in a race like Giro. He should be happy enough with not being forced to work for anyone else.

I just think Rein is too explosive rider to work for someone in headwinds or on climbs (like in Astana). He's probably too inconsistant to do top5/top10 in 3 week GT's but he's good enough to podium in one week tours and maybe stage hunt in GT's. I think team like GreenEdge or maybe Etixx would suit for him.

Actually, both Mørkøv and Juul-Jensen have stated that they felt like they needed a change of air. In fact Tinkov wanted to keep Juul-Jensen.
Also Jesper Hansen has re-signed and we don't know what Breschel's plan might be. I think Chris Anker has already stated that he's moving.

Wasn't CAS confirmed to Bora?

Nah. Still all on the rumour-level.

According to the French newspaper Ouest France Lampre, Trek and Movistar are in for Rolland. Rolland would prefer a move to Lampre.

In the same article of Ouest-France :

- Bryan Coquard & Angelo Tulik close to Etixx
- Cyril Gautier in talks with AG2R

I agree.

His problem is his healthy... If he stays ok with his issues, than he also can go for solid GT performances.
But most of the time there is something with him...

We will see, but in my opinion it would make no sense for him to change teams for going to another big team where he is a domestique first of all again.

Well the effect is the same. Since you're better placed, what's the feeling of whether Saxo Bank will stay with the team for next year (or is it 2017?)?

There hasn't really been any news in regards to Saxo Bank's sponsorship for next season since the tour, though they expected to finalise negotiations (with one outcome or the other) shortly after the Tour. We'll probably hear something soon-ish

Portuguese newspaper "confirms" Hesjedal, Pirazzi and Guardini to Lampre. Nélson Oliveira has offers from WT teams, and Mario Costa must leave the team.

so if Slagter leaves for LottoJumbo, Cannondale won't have many riders next year.

Talansky and Dombrowski for the GTs

Tom-Jelte Slagter and Dylan van Baarle extended their contracts with Cannondale Garmin. Vaughters also confirmed Wippert signing.

Hesjedal to Lampre? Im not seeing him in an Italien team at all =.= He is part of Garmin Slipstream since his pro debut. Unless he wanna be a leader in the TDF before he retire, that's a good idea( Lampre doesn't have a real GT rider).

Except for the times he was at US Postal, helped Landis win the Tour with Phonak, and then joined Health Net.
