Either Stölting ain't got no intention to throw stones into Pedersen career development or PCS simply got the contract facts wrong, I guess.

Interesting opportunity to lead a World Tour team in the Spring Classics.

According to PCS he's on contract with Stölting for 2017 as well.

He doesnt have a contract for 2017.

The AG2R signing is only a rumour tho, nothing has been confirmed

Well... of course nothing is confirmed. They're not allowed to confirm anything until August 1st. :p

I have some doubts that Stölting will exist as a team in 2017...
Lol they even said that they might go wt in 2017, which would be absolutely ridiculous. They havent shown anything special this year

Well... Mads P's agent disgrees with the rumour.

But of course the Nothing can be made public before August 1st rule means that he can't just go out and say "Yup! It's true!"

Im not too much into our own talents, but how good is he on an International scale, objectively? He seems like a pretty big talent, but I can't wait for Simon Andreasen personally

Mads Pedersen is for me the biggest Danish talent for the classics in the last 5 years easily. He might have the explosivity of Cort or power of Kragh (who I believe can be a great tt'er) but his engine for the long, tough races is bigger. As a second year junior he probably had the best season ever for a Dane - however one shouldnt put too much value into this.

With regards to the big classics like PR, Ronde and MSR, he is the biggest Danish prospect imo

I thought Andreason was mainly a MTB and CX rider?

He is. Quite a lot of Danes are hoping he will turn to road racing some day which seems quite likely.

Edit: Fun fact: when he became world champion for the second time in juniors mountainbike, runner-up was Egan Bernal who has turned quite a few heads this season.

Gazetta reporting Tinkov saying 2 other teams beyond Tinkoff& IAM to close this year ??? Who could he mean

In an interview with Danish TV2 he said that he expects the likes of BMC and Katusha to pull the plug, as the financial burden for privately backed teams is too big. - Gazetta might just be paraphrasing that.
FWIW, the article related to the interview is here, albeit in Danish: http://sport.tv2.dk/cykling/2016-05-30-oleg-tinkov-flere-hold-kommer-til-at-lukke

BMC or more precisely Andy Rihs and his millions aren't quitting cycling, they are looking for another secondary sponsor to come on board like they have been for the last 2 years but BMC will be racing next season

I'd be extremely surprised if BMC pulled the plug.

I think it was because Kathusa was gonna cut their budget and Gazprom was gonna jump in
