Oops, yes, I meant Maurits.

Thanks @Thepirateisgood. Been reading for some time, but I was waiting for something to contribute. It's a shame I messed that up. Lol.

Yes, when I posted it, I realized you could have asked for a source on either one :D

Anyway, haven't heard anything about the Planckaert-rumour, it certainly hasn't been made official yet if true. Katusha still need to renew a lot of contracts, only 10 riders confirmed for next year according to PCS. Big makeover going on there or just late with announcing renewals?

I can't remember where I read it but it was earlier in the year that Katusha was changing tack and becoming a less Russian orientated team, makes sense when we see Alpecin coming on board as a sponsor and the riders who they have been signing

It will be interesting to observe what he can do against better sprinters or will he be part of Kristoff's train?

It'd be a bit stupid to waste him in a xsprint train when he can rack up the placings in smaller races! I'm so excited to read all this!

I hope he gets his chance but I wonder why not any of the bigger belgian teams ever gave him a chance. He rode at a young age for Landbouwkrediet on PCT level and then went in 2014 to CT with Roubaix.

He was 24 years and should have been an interesting sign for Wanty or even Lotto...

Well I hope he goes to Katusha but doesn't turn out to become another De Haas.

Who are the big names that haven't been signed/confirmed yet?

Majka I haven't read anything about him.

Majka is rumoured to join Katusha. He has three offers from what I heard (Bora, Katusha and Bahrain). Same as Rui Costa but if Lampre survives maybe he will stay in the team.
