My own information from the team

Do you know anything about renewals and riders staying on the team (Katusha)?
A lot of russian riders will leave the team. Machado most likely too. Don't heard anything about Taaramae and Spilak.

Know anything about Mørkøv?
All the talk after Schmidt's signing for the team pretty much takes it for granted that they'll be teammates next year, but apparently nothing's actually official yet.

L'Equipe reported that Damien Gaudin, Sébastien Turgot and Sébastien Minard will all leave AG2R La Mondiale at the end on the season.

The Classics squad is hugely restructured.

It's not like any of these did anything useful, more like getting rid of ***

AG2R is going all-in for Bardet. So they tear down their classics squad to boost up their gt support team.

So why sign Naesen and van den Bergh?

Stage hunter for the Tour and locomotive for the flats? Rumor goes Bardet might try to win the 2017 Giro!

What is going on with Team Sky this transfer window?

Two new-pros and that's it.

From all reports Diego Rosa is a done deal and looking at the riders they have coming out of contract you'd think most of them will be re-signed with Roche, Zandio the only confirmed departures and I highly doubt Konig is staying

They don't really need other riders. They have a few young guys developing well and has had riders who have failed to live up to expectations for various reasons (Intxausti, Kwito, Landa..), so all they need is to develop the Moscons of the world and have those guys to avoid sickness etc.

On paper, its still by far the strongest team, at least in terms of depth.

Rumours about Kelderman and Wisniowski as well.

Agree that neither Gaudin nor Turgot have delivered any results, but Minard has been useful as a road captain and putting in some small digs in the latter parts of the cobbled classics over the last few seasons.

Not really a rider rumour but apparently GM Europa Ovini have applied for ProConti status, anyone else heard this?
So correct me if im wrong but
Bora -> WT
Bahrain -> WT
Lampre ???

Acqua Blue -> ProConti (who apparently signed Martyn Irvine to sit in their new 'old IAM team bus')
GM Europa -> ProConti

Stölting -> Continental
Drapac -> Continental

Any others folding/new teams/changingstatus ?

when does UCI aknowledge applicants normally?

Ohh and Jose Goncalves to Katusha looks confirmed according to Ciclo21

Bahrain Merida have also confirmed Paolo Slongo as headcoach according to their own twitter.

According to Velorooms
Bozic and Sioutsou have signed with Barhrain....

I read this yesterday and had to double take. I don't get it at all. Martyn Irvine retired last season because he failed to qualify for the track at the Olympics. And track's the thing he's actually good at.

If we remove meaningless results in the Irish nationals and his one win in years of trudging around the amateur races of the British Isles, his best result would be 28th on Stage 10 of the 2008 Tour of Qinghai Lake. In fact of the 13 stage races he has raced overseas he only finished four of them. It doesn't get much better in one-day races, but you get the idea.

Some business is done very late. Dimension Data weren't confirmed as WT until late November/early December I think.
