CyclingFever says that Jenthe Biermans is going to Katusha.

Jenthe has a lot of potential, great signing.

Confirmation of both here http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/bouet-to-ride-for-fortuneo-vital-concept-in-2017-transfer-shorts/

Also says Kelderman and Hofland will definitely leave LottoNL.

I posted earlier today Hofland goes to Lotto-Soudal...

Whats the SP with Ben Swift? Isnt his contract up at the end of the season with Sky?
He should definitely move on. At the best to a team were he leads the Giro sprint ambitions. Against Nizzolo and Modolo he actually might have a chance to win 1-2 stages and probably even the red jersey due to his versatility. Which already would be a big improvement and success given his record in 2nd places!

His shoulder is gnarled up to the point it hurts to sprint, so his future is not as a dedicated sprinter I think. He worked even more on his climbing this year in the hopes of going to the Tour as a versatile flat/climbing domestique; naturally that didn't work out, however on a scatter graph of climbing and sprinting, he is in the top 1% of sprinters in terms of climbing ability, alongside a guy like Rojas, who also barely sprints anymore. I hope he can continue in the WT, especially given his niche is races like MSR, the Basque Country, and Pologne, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he is forced to move down to pro conti and gets even fewer chances to win.

Was Diego Rosa to Sky ever confirmed? It seemed to go quiet after his 'Whereabouts' court case.

No confirmation yet and you're right that it may have put them off. Roche has gone and Poels, Sergio Henao and Konig could all leave so they could be significantly weaker next year. I believe there was a quite a strong rumour that Poels had extended with Sky so perhaps just the other three are leaving.

EDIT - Actually PCS shows Poels as a Sky rider for 2017 so maybe it was more than a strong rumour.

I thought Henao had extended too? But Rosa for Konig is an upgrage IMO. Proven as a strong Mtn Dom. Konig more of a leader.

The current rumour concerning Heano is that he will be signing with Bahrain-Merida

Saronni confirmed that next year will be the same team with only the change of the first sponsor (Lampre will be the second) and the contracted riders are all confirmed. He also seems certain of the WT licence (i'm still non convinced about that) and suggests a partnership with Team Colpack for a continental development team.

http://www.cyclingpro.net/spaziociclismo/worldtour/tj-lampre-saronni-quot-una-strada-obbligata-per-valorizzare-l-italia-quot

And the budget is €120m  ( for at least 3-4 years I suppose )

With you there as a stand alone jersey, but a shame it won't stand out as much in a peloton which is becoming a monotonous shade of deep blue/black.

Fair enough - would be a good signing for nibbles who is missing two or three top end mtn doms looking at the roster thus far. I seem to remember Sky suggesting he was going to sign when they announced Wisniowski.

Agreed. Looks nice but not the kind you want to ''see'' in the peloton.

Is that not too much? I mean 30.000.000 per year will make them the second team after Sky budget wise

Yep i'm pretty sure Henao is eagerly waiting to bury himself for Nibali :rolleyes:I don't see Henao leaving Sky despite Poels and Kwiatkowski competition on his suitable races. He had a good year,no way that Sky will let him go.

I can't see him staying. At SKY he won't be leading the Ardennes classics, at Bahrain he'll be co-leader. From his own personal PoV, he'd rather be at a team that gives him more oppurtunities to win races that suit him, especially when he has shown multiple times that he has the talent and capability.

Agreed. Sergio Henao would leave Sky.
He might to as the leader to the Giro there. No chance at sky.

That's not gonna happen at Bahrain either next year.

If he wants to leave to get more opportunities fine. For me joining Bahrain doesn't look like a good move at all.Considering his talent he should do it for a better team.Hopefully he'll get some other offers to chose from if he won't stay at Sky.

Mayeb KOnig will stay at SKY ? He is obviously weighting up his options...Maybe he has had a few more offers after this week and is reconsdiering .... I think SKY are probably considering too especially if they lose Henao . Henao will definitely have more opportunities at Bahrain..He will be seconf GC rider after Nibali who can't ride every race ...May get a chance to lead a GT which he won't get at SKY
