Quite easy to divide the season between them, I'd think. Martin will have PN, Catalunya, Ardennes, TdF and maybe Canada/Britain+WC. Aru with some middle eastern early season race, Tirreno, Trentino, Giro, Vuelta.

There appears to be another Colombian who is signing with Cannondale. Whether it is from the Colombian or the European scene remains to be seen.
I reckon it's going to be Dani Martinez.

Quality signing, one of the best young climbers with some gt experience on the market and it's a better team than Wilier (ok, that's not saying much).

If i'm not mistaken, Dani Moreno already announced that he will end his career after 2017. Of course there's always the possibility of changing his mind but that's the latest news i've heard about him

I wouldn't mind him at EF but Vaughters has now a sponsor more than a year ago and he has signed plenty of interesting riders so far with Modolo, McLay and Daniel Martinez. Vermeulen looks like a man who could decently round out a low budget WT team but if you have some funds to play with, there might still be more appealing riders without a contract even at this point of the year. His best hope would be Slipstream wanting to have a certain number of Americans in their roster but we don't know if that is the case. I mean they surely do but they already have some under contract and might decide that is enough.

Fernando Barceló signs for Euskadi-Murias. He has been in the Fundación Euskadi amateur team and is a top drawer climbing prospect, another Aragonese escalador. He has been riding as a stagiare at Cofidis, and has shown promise at Asturias (especially on Acebo when he was 3rd behind Quintana and Alarcón) and Burgos; with the top tier teams in Spain filling their neo-pro boots from their own feeders, Murias may be a useful fit for him, since there isn't really an obvious leader for him to be stuck working for, and probably not an overly intensive calendar.

Seems like Cannondale will want to have some kind of a sprint train now. I wonder if it was planned or just forced by what prospects have been left on transfer market after their sponsorship troubles.

Docker is (also) support for Vanmarcke.

Docker wasn't offered a contract by Orica - Docker's had a much better 2017,compared to 15/16 - He can be part of a sprint train in a one day race or shorter stage race, can provide good support in the classics and on a good day make the top 10, and he can make the final selection in hillier one day races like Quebec - Don't expect him to ride GT's as he's only ridden one in the last 3 years which was a DNF - He left Orica because they being a GC focused team, wanted reliable riders who could finish a GC - Based on his 2017 form, Docker is a good selection for EF First.

Ciccone has extended with Bardiani.
Good news. More Pro Conti teams should have star riders. Hopefully Ciccone can become one in a couple of years. I like that G-Mart is becoming a force at Wanty as well. The sport is better off with a better distribution of talent.

Cink has been struggling with knee problems since the Tour de France. Perhaps road cycling was too demanding for his body. A shame if so, because he's obviously talented.
