Well, Boom wasn't so hot this year. Maybe "the other" Dutch cobbles contender can do better for them.

I know nothing about the standings in the Coupe de France and would prefer to keep it that way. I was using the Coupe de France as a shorthand for "trivial races Fortuneo participate in when they aren't being breakaway fodder in races anyone cares about".

as Mattparker said, Poels signed until 2018. Castroviejo will be a nice one in the train and Sergio Henao will stay too.
and I think with Nieve leaving, they could use his wages to make a big offer to Landa to stay and get the Giro leadership in 2018
Landa's performance in the TDF and currently in the Vuelta Burgos might make Team Sky consider reshuffling their cards...Lexman said:pastronef said:Dekker_Tifosi said:Nieve gone, Landa gone. Sky train is getting weaker and weaker. Good.

Giro 2018 is for Thomas not Landa
I know. I guess he'll justify it by saying the team has plans to go WT in the future. Still, disappointing.Ricco' said:Coquard doesn't want to stay with Direct Energie because he wants to go WT and have a different calendar.
A few weeks later, he signs with another french ProConti outfit, where he probably will end up with the same (or even slightly lesser calendar, since it's a new team and the amount of ProConti teams in France and Belgium is rising). I don't see the logic behind it, maybe someone can see it (apart from the $$$).
