And Bakelants gods to Sunweb as well.

Is it 16 or 17 Danes on the WorldTour now?

I think it's 17. Seem to recall reading that there were 15 a while back, and with Gregaard and AKA as well.
And if Honore joins as well…
The best part, for me, though, is how much they're spread out. Can't for the life of me understand those people arguing that we need to put all the Danes on the same team.

Maybe even 18 as I think Casper Pedersen signed after that previous count.

And no, it's definitely best to have them on many different teams.

It seems to be 17:

Jakob Fuglsang, Magnus Cort, Jonas Gregaard (Astana)
Kasper Asgreen, Micael Mørkøv (Deceuninck)
Rasmus Byriel (Lotto Soudal)
Christopher Juul (Mitchelton)
Lars Bak, Michael Valgren (Dimension Data)
Matti Breschel (Team EF Education First Drapac powered by Cannondale)
Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo)
Mads Würtz (Katusha)
Asbjørn Kragh, Søren Kragh, Casper Pedersen (Sunweb)
Niklas Eg, Mads Pedersen (Trek)

For now.

They are the new Colombians. This is why I proposed a Danish World Tour race for the classics riders similar to the BinckBank Tour.

1. We need another stage race that isn't for the climbers.
2. If Turkey, Canada and Poland can have one, so can Denmark.

Not surprised about Theuns. It was clear from his girlfriend's comments that they weren't too happy with Sunweb's ways. I could see him at a Belgian pro Conti team or back to Trek. His girlfriend works for the team and he has good relations with several riders there.

he left Trek since he was only 3rd choice behind Degenkolb and Stuyven, if he goes back to Trek there will be Mads Pedersen as well so he'll be 4th choice...

apparently he was ....ed off at Sunweb when at the Bickbank tour he had to be in the spurt train for a teammate and couldn't go his own chance (must be in the first and 3rd stage when Walscheid endend in the top 10)

it seems he found a new team already, he lets the team announce it at the end of the week, he confirms that the typical way of working at sunweb might not suit everybody, he doesn't want to give examples since it's internal affairs and cyclingworld is small, he might need them at a given moment in his career you never know...

curious if Baekelants will be able to adapt himself there, he has a special character

Edward Theuns terminates his contract with Sunweb. He couldn't get used to Sunweb's way of thinking and working. Not surprising, knowing they have (ridiculous) protocols for everything. From how to eat your breakfast, to how to walk onto the podium after a race.
"I have already found a new team and leave it to that team to communicate"

Roompot could use a rider like him.

Sosa or Ganna next?

Quiet transfer year for Sky but steadily building for the future with some of the best U23 talent.
I wouldn't call it quiet if they sign young talents like Narvaez, Sosa, Ganna, Dunbar and probably Hayter and maybe Donovan as well.
Lol quiet

It's been out *** rageous this year.

They ain't ready to go pro yet. Especially Donovan, who is only a first year U23. Hayter could use some more consistency which he lacked in the first half of 2018, also due to his focus on the track.

Which is why I don't think they will actually sign Donovan yet. He's only 19.
