Beppe Conti was totally unleashed in the last Radiocorsa, he said that Sky wants Lopez as a domestique for Bernal, Viviani will leave Quick-Step because they want to use the money to renew Alaphilippe contract and he could go to Direct Energie or Katusha whereas Colbrelli will be the low coast replacement of Viviani and Vino wants Nibali back.

Rerad it in the belgian press as well, his manager (Alaphilippe that is) says he's going to have a meeting with Lefevre ...Quick Step has 18 riders out of contract !!!!

That is crazy... literally the worst position you could be in. Wonder why they havent re-signed a few earlier, instead of having that many new contracts to negotiate.

A lot of them are probably looking for a raise and many of them probably deserves one.

They resigned Hodeg and Jakobsen, rumour has it that they won't resign Viviani and that Jakobsen will become their Nr. 1 sprinter.

They have let go of Cavendish, Kittel, Gaviria and so on in the past so not resigning Viviani makes sense I guess for them. They will be fine with Hodeg and Jakobsen.

I would try and keep Ala over Viviani for example, if it is a choice, and hope Hodeg and Jakobsen keep developing.

I think Movistar has only 2 riders under contract for 2020? At least according to PCS. Now, that is crazy. On the other hand, EF seems to have everyone of their best riders already secured beyond 2019. It seems to go in cycles as very few riders get more than 2-years deals, you will find yourself in a situation when most of your squad is out of contract once every few years.

Quick Step have had the same problem for years. They are so good at developing riders that each year they find themselves in a situation that they have a stronger roster than they budget can sustain and they need to let go some of their top guys. Then they hire other and develop them and the story repeats.

Beppe Conti is more than a month that is saying that Direct Energie wants Alaphilippe (and also Pinot and Viviani) for next year and that a lot of riders could leave Quick-Step (he cited also Mas, Jungels, Stybar).

I'm pretty sure Gazzetta is mentioning him when says "c'è chi garantisce su un'offerta di 4 milioni dalla Total", they took from him also the rumor of Gaviria to UAE last summer when no one was believing.

If I'm not mistaken, Jungels had a 3 yr contract, he's staying with DQT to the end of 2020
