(Andy is still on the same contract he signed when his only two results of any note were stage wins at the Sachsen-Tour)
That I doubt. Surely he didn't sign a four year contract in 2006?

If he's not still in that contract, biciciclismo is mistaken, which doesn't happen often.

Either way, I don't see them staying.

EDIT:

here's Team CSC's website back in 2010

That piece of evidence does indeed suggest a four year contract signed prior to his break-through. How odd. Either he was given a great contract before he had really earned it, or he is currently the most underpaid rider in the peloton.

According to Kazakhstan Cycling Fed. Johan Bruyneel is under contract with Astana till the end of 2010, they didn't receive yet any letter of resignation. Is he going out? The whole world is sure he is in the Shack already, but he prefers to built new team from the convenient Astana headquarter.
So now Federation can't give authority to somebody else for transfers.

Or he renegotiated his terms.

He is notorious...let go by Skil...resurfaced with Vacansoleil I think...then busted again? He is a cancer and has no chance to get back on with a top team...

Could be, but the norm is to extend the length of the contract when that happens, otherwise the team doesn't gain anything by it...except perhaps an increased likelyhood of future loyalty.

I just got news from a source inside caisse d'epargne and it looks like they've acquired a secondary sponsor to sign contador, Unzue is trying to work out a deal with the kazakhs to release contador. They hope if everything goes well to have a deal in place by late next week, they haven't announced the sponsor because the whole deal depends upon them signing contador.

Wiggans is due to ride the Jayco Hearld Sun Tour in Victoria next month. I think that it is last race of the season.

Stéphane Rossetto (22, French) - overall winner of this year's Tour de Gironde - has signed for Vacansoleil.

Well, he is a promising climber, though he is having a stagnation in his results since 2007. Interesting why Bruyneel/LA party signed him, not the best candidate IMO.

The article basically says that Rini Wagtmans, replacement of JB, is interested in Gesink:

Ik ben inderdaad gecharmeerd van Gesink. Hij is een coureur van de toekomst. Iedere manager begrijpt dat hij veel geld waard wordt. Zeker gezien hetgeen hij nu verdient. Van mijn zijde is de interesse is er zeker

I like Gesink. He is a rider of the future. Every manager understands that he'll be worth a lot of money. Especially given what he earns now. From my side, I can confirm I am very interested.

Asked which riders he'll sign to replace Contador, who has indicated he wants to leave, Wagtmans says: "I am going to surprise everyone. I think I will make one of the boldest moves ever, to attract top cyclists. Astana will become even stronger than it was this year. [Lit:] All teams will look pale compared to what I'll show is possible".

I'm still wondering if this is AC's team for 2010? Would have thought Contador would have been gone by now if Astana was going to let him leave.

All I can say is very interesting!!

it wont happen.
1. Gesink is leader for just about every race he wants at rabo
2. Rabo seem to have him as a top priority, it is obvious they want to achieve big things, with dutch riders. Their enthusiasm will be double at races like the tour with gesink leading, then say menchov or rasmussen.
3. under contract until 2011.

Gesink will be at rabo for a long time.

Bos is leaving rabobank.

Interesting, in the sense that RAB assists him in his transition, after which or better during which, he chooses to leave. The reasons given were 'no guarantee for participation in a big tour' and 'lack of riders to form/guarantee a lead out train'.

Apparently he had an offer from Cervelo last year...
