Well BEIN S*cks...they had the first 3 stages of T-A scheduled but have replaced it with motorcycle racing :(

Their coverage of Strade Bianchi and Roma Maxima was replays of EuroSport coverage and was very good.

US viewers hosed for TV we will have to do streams :(

Anyone listen to the races on Internet radio? I can easily take my daughter to school while listening to a race (preferably in English or French).

Sorry, I think I should have worded that differently...does anyone know of any audio/radio coverage of races that I can get on the Internet? Unlike a video feed, I can listen to the audio while driving my daughter to school in the morning.

Let's just say that Flanders is a better race for TV than Paris Nice. I'd make that trade.

And it's only one day they dont have to interrupt Hockey

I mean NBC knows that Right? It's only one day.

In days of old the Eurosport audio used to be readily available in the us but for the last few years it has been geo restricted.

My smartphone has TuneIn Radio that has access to a lot of European channels, but so far I have been unable to find live coverage. I will keep searching.

I was fortunate to be able to watch the live stream of Paris-Nice this morning....and then my husband offered to drive my daughter to school (a 40 min round trip) so I was able to watch the live stream finish of Tirreno-Adriatico also.

BEIN Sports finally managed to show all 7 stages of T-A. Very uninspiring to get them well after the event is complete. Today at 12:30 EST there is a show Cycling Italy which I assume will be MSR.

Universal has live on-line coverage at 10:30AM of Catalunya and TV show at 8PM-you must be a Universal subscriber. At least their stream should be better quality and less drop offs than the usual streams I've been forced to use.

i just signed up for cyclingtv....trying it for 3 months.
I'm so fed up with relying on early morning live feeds and nothing else.

will see what I think of cyclingTV..supposedly showing Catalunya ..but they miss some of the ones I really care about. ..

Not sure what will happen for Giro this year...:(

GAh! have not even signed in yet to watch Catalunya! :(
I've been catching the other races live mostly and haven't had a night or afternoon where I've turned on the cyclingtv

I don't think they are showing Flanders...it was a little highlighty stuff and can't really remember what is live next.
I'll let you know....:D

cycling tv was pretty fantastic in 2007-2008 or so. Had everything from Qatar and California in February to classics to Paris-Nice and T-A to Giro, and on and on, everything but TdF really. I guess it was easier to get the rights when no one was covering it in the US. Excellent for its on demand coverage, decent product with commentators etc. Only thing was that they were the WORST for communicating with customers. And when races started to disappear, that was a problem, it became a game of guessing what they might show. So, mixed experiences for sure. They don't seem to have enough live events this year, but it's probably worth a shot. I'm interested to see what your experience is.

Phil and Paul kicked of the season in fine form.

There is a new team called Radio Sky according Phil and dude didn't clip a fan no "we all saw his wheel turn on a cobble because cobbles cobbles cobbles it s cobbles race" Un no Phil the whole world saw the collision, even Paul.

"Tyler Phiney most certainly finished top 15 for his best result in this race to date" um not quite Phil it was more like 23rd

Paul Sherwin Memo to you bro: top bar levers came from cyclocross not mountain-biking. Thanks for trying to dumb it down but there is a limit. You seem to know personally every rider in the race who raced cyclocross but top levers come from mountain biking?
dude you broadcast like a man possessed..

these guys are a disgrace.

Hey we got PR, almost live LOL!!! I had stream on before show started and they backed up 10km and billed it live, go figure :p:p

After months of Carlton Kirby, et al I tolerated P&P well. First race where Phil has showed up.

It was nice to have it in HD on the TV :)

this is about the only thing that makes p & p tolerable. cycling in hd is >>>>> than just about anything.

phil mentioned fab's crash last year in flanders and claimed he was a poor bike handler. not the biggest spartacus fan, but it was so ridiculous i almost threw something at the tv.

I guess I had the commentary tuned out or muted a lot :)

I now Ligget makes a lot of errors, and Sherwin tries too hard, but these guys have a pulse. They get excited and try to convey the excitement back. If you are looking at a computer screen with while listening to these guys, you will know when to look up from their voices.

I've just found that bein sport is now available on Fios and Comcast.

They are broadcasting Romandie live, and I read in this link
http://www.cyclingnews.com/blogs/pi...one-and-the-rcs-team/giro-ditalia-tv-coverage

that Bein Sport will be broadcasting the Giro live and also highlights.

Score!

Yes I've been watching or recording Romandie. The major problem with beIN is that they don't put up schedules until the last minute and change them frequently. I didn't find out they had Romandie until the AM the race started after checking their schedule for days.

They also had RvV scheduled (2 days post race) but it disappeared and has never been shown :(

However I did get Strade Bianchi, Roma Maxima, T-A; not live, usually 1-3 days later.

I've been sweating the Giro thinking I was going to have to do my best to catch live streams so Praying they actually show it live (and I can DVR it if I'm not available). At least now I know they will carry it, or parts of it because it isn't listed on their schedule yet, LOL!)

So this is great news Indeed!!!!

Universal is Not available on Directv???? You should check the Universal site, click Get Our Network, put in your zip code and they will give you the channel #. I just tried it and it gave me mine :)

You might have to get an additional package. I had to buy Red Zone Sports package from Dish to get Universal. And I got NBCSports and beIN via the 250 channel package. $100 a month just to get cycling and they show it delayed 80% of the time LOL! But I Love that HD pic and being able to dvr it and watch when I am able to :)
