I thought teams like Bora would loose a lot of time to UAE. Ineos looks really bad. Perhaps they can speed up.

Problem for Quick-Step is that Evenepoel offers no draft. :D

Based on the time splits of the likes of Ineos and Jayco, looks like a stronger headwind on the first part and therefore a stronger tailwind on the way back compared to when EF were on the road.

Lol, every other first guy moves over right after the first turn, only Remco starts with a casual one minute turn.

Even if Soudal beats them, EF must have a phenomenal TT set up to do so well with the lineup they have here. Outside of De bod, they don’t really have any of their big engines here.

It is a shame, I expected more from Bardiani.
Fun fact: they almost lost as much time to both second-worst and the winning team as Novo Nordisk in the similar 2019 TTT. Bardiani are so incompetent they can barely beat those racing with a chronic illness.

GC: Evenepoel and Plapp in the same time, Bilbao 4 seconds down. This is basically a one-climb race between the three of them.

Quick Step wins but Bahrein defend themselves very well. Given that Bilbao is a better finisher than Remco he could have the advantage (I don't think Plapp is good enough to stay with these two).
