Yep, great win
Yep, great win
Hero of the day is Oscar onlay who is apparently a puncheur, but still sprinted ferociously with 7km to go on the climb to follow the attack of pocagar like Rasmussen following contadorSo the hero of the day was Castrillo, right?
Superman would've won by at least 30 seconds today
After todays lacklustre climbing demonstration, Yates struggling against Gaudu and 'Damien Howson' and Vingegaard looking like he can't climb his way out of a paper bag I'm actually declaring the Tour/Giro officially BACK ON.So Adam Yates will win the gc and at least 6 stages in the giro. Castrillo >> Romeo.
Tour over. Vuelta unpredictable at this stage.
And Yates record is 25:52...
Im not sure on his climbing.A bit long that climb for Onley. But kudos to him for having a go and trying to stay with Pog, even if it cooked him. Speaking of which, as a fair scot, the heat will most likely have been a bit of an issue for him to. Great effort from Romeo. Shame he missed out on the podium, but what potential he has long term. Can TT and can climb.
Still a good perfomance. We are in February. And Yates record is 25:52...
Is it? Some people thought he would break the record by a minuteStill a good perfomance. We are in February.
Is it? Some people thought he would break the record by a minute
I still consider a good perfomance since we are in February.....but yeah, there wasn't any "poghmeier" or whatever they call!Is it? Some people thought he would break the record by a minute
