I had assumed it was some kind of Slovenian humour I hadn't picked up on so I didn't want to be harsh, but apparently he was serious. The lad couldn't pour piss out of a boot with instructions written on the heel.

It’s a long climb but only 5%. Reminds me when he won the stage to Oropa at the Giro. Wins a sprint of the best but obviously just doing what he had to with that signature Pogacar sprint at the end which nobody can match. Nice lead out by Vine. The rest just happy to be there.

I was a bit disappointed by FFB too, but maybe the climb was just a bit too long for him

He was at his limit and almost dropped already before Pogacar launched, but he still managed to past 10 guys in the last 200 metres with his final kick, different but still similar to the way he rode Willunga Hill.
