We've seen Remco and Tiberi in good shape in several races, and Del Toro seems to be too. Gee´s shape is more unknhown.

It's just a prediction on a forum.
Sure, I'm just saying that I have difficulties making proper prediction because it's hard to gauge the form. Tiberi was indeed decent in Valencia.

So how do we gauge a good, bad, middling Remco performance? A win? Good. A win by last meters sprint, middling? A win by more then 15 seconds really good? No win, bad?
Of course it's only February, but the pressure is all on him.

He won't win today, so don't bother

For tomorrow, if I was UAE, I wouldn't set a high pace on the climb. You want to create chaos, give more riders from other teams the possibility to go for it. RBH doesn't have the team to control this, which means Evenepoel has to do it himself. Which makes room to make mistakes tactically, Paris-Nice 2024 is a great example of this.

Unless Evenepoel is much stronger and drops everyone himself with a high pace, but in that case tactics don't matter anyway.

I want that chaos!

I have a feeling he'll struggle but I think it'll depend on whether other guys work together or not.
I guess you won't have to work with somebody on such slopes. It's 13+% for couple kms and 11.8 for nearly 7 km. Everybody will be for themselves today. It's just not the Remco's area, he has nightmares about such climbes from Giro.

Is there any evidence whatsoever to date that del Torro is a better climber than Remco?

Today is tough to call.

Giro last year and Finestre showed that

Not sure how the Giro Showed that del Torro was a better climber than Remco? Think Remco’s performance at Plateau de Beille numbers wise more impressive than Finestre.

Am not saying del Torro won’t turn out to be a better climber, i don’t know and he may prove it today, I am questioning the evidence that says he is at present.

They are trying some different graphics in this race:

A wind compass and a rider heat map.

I'm not sold on the heat map.
