Adam Yates too snappy for Del Toro who wants a consistent tempo
I mean this isn't ideal for either him or Evenepoel, they're getting stuffed by the Tiberi's and Harold Tejada's of the world, even Plapp looks good on a climb that doesn't suit him, Tulett(?) and LVE still there.
Evenepoel has never been great at this sort of climb without specific climbing prep and has paced himself like a neopro, but even allowing for that not being able to stay with the main chase group should worry him.
I don't think anyone could have seen this coming. To me he was massively overhyped, but this performance is certainly something else. And my CQ priorities (not picking him) keep getting knocks.
