I'm sure the guy that got 5th looked fastest and would've won if better positioned.13 seconds in a headwind
So Vansevenant must be very fastWhen the head-rocking starts, you know he's going fast.
blikra was very telling from aboveI'm sure the guy that got 5th looked fastest and would've won if better positioned.
So Vansevenant must be very fastI think he's the only one who moves his head more than Milan.
The time to get time back, the time to be assertive was on mountain climbs where riders are more isolated by ability, on flat road in final day getting all aggravated acting like something significant was going to happen was silly.Apparently I missed Remco's antics. Will need to look for replays..
Every time Milan wins a sprint with a 2,000 watt effort I always wonder what his margin of victory would be if he learned to be efficient. So Vansevenant must be very fastI think he's the only one who moves his head more than Milan.
Is that Remco? What has he done to a)get so pissy b)presume he has the credibility to ask the pack to do anything? Needs to chill out and counsel with Roglic.
How do you gauge efficiency though? This might be Milan's optimal position to generate power. Make him more aero and he could lose 200 watts in peak power.Every time Milan wins a sprint with a 2,000 watt effort I always wonder what his margin of victory would be if he learned to be efficient.
Yes, but have you considered my knee jerk reactions prefer to think the trainers at an 8 figure budget team are too stupid to consider that? How do you gauge efficiency though? This might be Milan's optimal position to generate power. Make him more aero and he could lose 200 watts in peak power.
Speaking of knee jerk, you see that Milan is one of a handful of riders that can actually use a 10 tooth cog! Guy has crushing power. If you watch I think win number 2 or his recent 3 he actually runs out of gear and muscle right near line. It wasn't pretty but his legs came to some ugly lactic acid point of failure just before or at the line. As far as effective, efficiency anything smooth or pretty his pedal stroke was something square and looked like omnidirectional leg spasms. Much of the last part of his sprints come off as violent wrestling, were it looks like he is trying to break pieces of the bike off, handlebars, stem, cranks, pedals, guy is brutal not beautiful.. As far as efficiency, he is trying to transfer his energy and win the race, guy is pretty F-ing efficient in my book. And the his positioning in the crunch, the guy is pretty efficient at getting in the right place at the right time.. No high paid coach can give you the cantaloupes it takes to do that.. I will take Milan's primal abilities over efficiency any day.Yes, but have you considered my knee jerk reactions prefer to think the trainers at an 8 figure budget team are too stupid to consider that?
