Team mate in front. So what's wrong with MVdP?
Pushing now for bronze, only 2 guys left in his wheel
Team mate in front. So what's wrong with MVdP?
The best one was Colin Strickland saying that they need to understand gravel isn't about rules and regs, oh and by the way here are all the rules and regs I've decided gravel should have and they'll be expected to follow them.I do love a good salt mine.
Never to be worn all year...Vermeersch in rainbow stripes.
Rainy/Snowy Giro stages? This is the worst TV coverage in history... What happened with Oss?
It's almost like the disciplin with a lot (relatively) of money attracts all the top talent. And this was all predictable. Same thing happened with fixed crit racing, same thing happened in Enduro racing, same thing is happening here and the same thing happens when pros turn up to ultra-endurance races. There's a reason they're pro cyclists after all.
Shocked! Shocked I tell you! It's almost like the disciplin with a lot (relatively) of money attracts all the top talent.
If you think about it, yes, it was basically guaranteed a pro cyclist, actual pro not influencer pro, would win. Seemed like a number of gravel cyclists didn't think about it. You see the same things at cycling clubs, riders who are the fastest in their mates group turn up thinking they're going to be dropping everyone, then 15 minutes into the ride they're falling off the wheel.I am not watching it but wasn't that fully to be expected? Imagine Marathon was not an Olympic disciplin and had no prestige wahtsoever - the 10k runners would still obliterate the Marathon purists in an Marathon event, could they be bothered to do it in this hypothetical scenario.
Well, yes, but in your hypothetical scenario the majority of the marathon runners don't show up and the race isn't a marathon, but a 15k instead.I am not watching it but wasn't that fully to be expected? ...including track sprinters complaining that there aren't enough flat sprint races on the road. It's almost like the disciplin with a lot (relatively) of money attracts all the top talent.
Track sprinting is much more like weightlifting with extra steps than road cycling....including track sprinters complaining that there aren't enough flat sprint races on the road.
