Yes, and Italians, Belgians, French, Aussies, Americans, Germans, Luxemburgers (sp?) Spanish........well really, pro bikeracer does well in a major race, ergo.........
I'm happy you don't mention Dutch riders. Although their performance in major races doesn't exactly raise any eyebrows, I'll give you that.

The last Dutchies who did anything in big races except for Gesink, were T.Dekker (doped), E.Dekker (hematocrit level 50+ Verona 99) and Boogerd (most certainly doped).

Tend to think Gesink is clean, but you never know. If he is doped that would not come as a suprise either

Ivano Fanini constantly tells the press this and that about doping. And he constantly gets shot down by fans and his comments go unreported by the press.

And once again he's proven dead right.
People need to listen to Fanini. He's one of the very, very few who actually gives a crap about the state of cycling.

Why am I mentioning this? Well, one of Fanini's many comments earlier this year was mentioning that Pellizotti and Nibali have been seeing Dr. Ferrari.

UCI Press release. it's just 3 riders. Valjavec, Pellizotti and Jesús Rosendo.

But since Scognamiglio is involved too, this can't be the end of it.
Still waiting on the other spanish guy and the russian.

And both didn't like that 'press release' that's what I can remember ;)

Do you have a source for Tadej Valjavek?

its in La Marca http://www.marca.com/2010/05/03/ciclismo/giro_italia/1272896448.html

En las próximas horas podrían salir a la luz con los mismos cargos el nombre de otros cuatro corredores. Uno de ellos el del esloveno del Ag2r Tadej Valjavec, que el año pasado también destacó en la ronda italiana.

In the next few hours 4 more names could come to light with the same charges. One of them is the slovanian from Ag2r Tadej Valjavec, who lasyt year also did well at the Giro.

Press Release - Commencement of disciplinary proceedings on the basis of the biological passport

Date:

03.05.2010
Description:

After having informed all the parties concerned (riders, National Federations, teams, National Anti-Doping Organisations and the World Anti-Doping Agency), the International Cycling Union announces that disciplinary procedures have been requested against the following riders for apparent violation of the Anti-Doping Rules on the basis of the information provided by the blood profiles in their biological passports:

* Franco Pellizotti (ITA)
* Jesus Rosendo Prado (ESP)
* Tadej Valjavec (SLO)

The UCI emphasises that these proceedings are being initiated as a result of the recommendations of the independent experts who were appointed when the biological passport programme was launched.

Since the introduction of the new programme, the regular analysis of individual profiles has not only led to proceedings of the type described above, but has also allowed increasingly effective targeting of riders for out-of-competition anti-doping controls.

Each rider mentioned above shall be accorded the right to the presumption of innocence until a final decision has been made on this matter. Under the World Anti-Doping Code and the UCI Anti-Doping Rules, the UCI is unable to provide any additional information at this time.

Strange that there haven't been more names on that press release

Anyway there are a lot of and very long-lasting legal proceedings in the future I believe. And, well I guess I am the only person here looking forward to that. (especially if he's dropped from Liquigas and not allowed in any of the other teams)
