Cervelo beat Pinarello to the punch, and they don't have PFP and Tom P.

The only World Cup course where a HT was still used, Albstadt is no longer on the calendar....

Unless the new course at Valkenburg is non technical......

I think it's probably more useful as a XCMarathon race bike.

Might not be the World Cup but there's still decent racing going on. Brazilian champs, Roc D'Azur in southern France; in fact PFP is racing there tomorrow after racing the gravel Worlds race today.

A day after winning the Gravel World Championship, PFP wins the XC race at Roc D'Azur.......one would think that's her season done. What an end to the season for her.

And now we wait for transfer rumours to be confirmed or not. We might be waiting a while, as for some reason MTB doesn't have the same 1st August policy as road teams/ riders.

Well some recent announcements; Trek have signed US racer Gwendolyn Gibson to join their team - but nobody is on the way out. And just today, Henrique Avancini leaves Cannondale.....

Just going back over previous articles, and one had Colombo going to Scott-Sram, however seeing as he's signed for the new road team Q36.5 that's probably unlikely.

Q36.5 will ride Scott bikes, so I say that's almost official confirmation that he will join Scott-Sram in the MTB races.

When he announced the move on his instagram page he made it clear that he was joining the Q36.5 for the road races.

Ah right, I hadn't seen they were going to be on Scott bikes......So it is possible he joins Scott-Sram, and then makes it likely that Vidaurre goes elsewhere; maybe Specialized.....????

I'm sure Trinity is a development team, mainly for U23 riders......There is a space at Specialized, so who knows?

I don't think Vidaurre would be a fit for Trinity Racing...he's already a star.

I'd assume no change; we know XCO.......is the 'classic' 1 hr 30 min race.

XCC short track 20-25 minutes...XCO 90 minutes.

yep, I know. if there is short track in the olympics that will make it all very confusing for new viewers. one olympic distance but two events in the olympics. I've always thought they have marketed it wrong, and now it could be even worse.

Unfortunately even XCO is not 90 minutes anymore. The trend seems to have it between 75 to 80 minutes.

Of the 18 World Cups of 2022 (Men and Women) only 4 were above 85 minutes, with none above 90 minutes and the majority of them under 80 minutes.

I'm sure that is part of the rules/regs for the World Cup; other Elite XCO races are allowed to be 90 mins. I think somebody posted the rules on another site.
