Still find it amazing that the U23 XCC race gets no air time, even though it's a short course, the set up would be about the same as the pros, etc. Like nothing.

Well done Whoop and Discovery. Great job promoting a product
Well, the proposals are that U23 won't get any coverage at all.......
It really beggars belief......

And while World Cups & World Championships are different, the contrast between the Road Worlds with all the live coverage, and the MTB Worlds with only Elites live couldn't be more stark.

MTB really is the poor relation.

A double for Canada in the U23; one which was no surprise - Isabella Holmgren with a dominant win, and in another league; which is why she's on a WWT team, and her opponents aren't.

And a first World Cup win for Cole Punchard, who rode away from everyone. The Overall is still open, but with Bjorn Riley absent, Riley Amos can win it next week.

dull non selective course - 80% is just CX terrain, big bunch riding together just waiting for the asphalt sprint, barely any spectators along the track... i'm quite disappointed with this addition to the series.

It reminded me of the first round in Brazil; lots of close, tactical racing, with nobody willing to go for it - and waiting for the final sprint.
They need to make a few changes to make it a bit more selective/ technical........They supposedly have a 3 year deal.

I don't know about the crowds, as it didn't look packed - and the forest sections looked empty - maybe a 'no go' for spectators?

Perhaps it's possibility they may bump into the giant crocodile puts them off.

No U23 coverage and what infuriates is regular references to them in the commentary.

doubt there was no go for them along the course... they were just scarce. yeah it's similar tactically as in Brazil but there at least was great atmosphere and crowds and the humidity factor. that's also why i think we don't need another bunch sprint CX course in the calendar...
