And with the MTB Worlds in Andorra, which has a long gravel climb, and a few grass climbs - he could win another title. However, today is his last race in the rainbow jersey.
True. It will be interesting to see how he weathers the Tour de France. Tour de Suisse, XCC/XCO tough weekend, then a GT ... that could be a lot for his body to process. Flying or failing by the end of the tour.

same date as the tour of britain i think... not sure what his plan is but I suspect a road autumn for the 1st time with worlds/lombardia - using ToB as prep?
has previously said focus is only on road for the years following olympics.

You may well be right, not heard him say anything past Olympics road race.
At least it's only a short trip from Crans Montana to Florence.

Podder's lack of focus might be what does him in. Super talented (most especially on the mountain bike), but he must be a massive headache for Ineos leadership.
That may depend on what their expectations of/for him are.

Canada have selected Gunnar and Isabella Holmgren for their Olympic selection.
Big call on youth and the future, especially for Isabella.
Personally I might have selected Jackson.
I thought Holmgren auto qualified as per their criteria.

Yeah, some countries have U23 results the equal of Elite, which I find slightly odd. I have no doubt Isabella is going to be a massive talent; in both World Cups she's just ridden away from the others - and in another league. How she gets on against the top women will be interesting.

Another World Cup, this time Les Gets, France.
Though who thought it was a good idea to have a World Cup during Le Tour needs their head looking at. The cycling media are focused on Le Tour.......
Watched the short track on the TV while following the tt on my phone. Multi tasking!
