If anything, the reveals are released to make the UCI look better while said anti-doping conference is quite probably criticizing the UCI's effectiveness when it comes to doping.

I was wondering if McQuaid or Pound are up for re-election shortly, or if the ASO were a bit too separate from the UCI for McQuaid's liking, or if the UCI/AFLD spat and the recent resignation of Pierre Bordry had anything to do with it.

they have saved contador and all the other dopers for years now, but are trying to kill riccardo since he came out now. what should be the reason for it?

in my opinion that has nothing to do with anti-doping fight any more , as he's just doping like all the others. same thing as in 2008, they just try to destroy him as the one and only bad boy doper in the cycling scene while they also would be able to caught much other riders....

hope he get off lightly off this and wins the giro 11.

Ricco is a punk, and his own worst enemy. If there is a vendetta against him, it is a product of his own bloated ego and hubris. I hate to see such talent go to waste, but I really find it hard care about a knucklehead of such huge scale. I hope that after the headlines, he fades into doper obscurity.
