Well then he fits perfectly at Quick Step right? I mean, ever heard Boonen after a loss?

The guy invents an excuse for everything

He would fit better with Leotard or Rabo.

Andy reopens chaingate by stating that he think Bertie saw him lose the chain and then attacked. He alsa says thar no big champion would do that, theby indicating that Bertie is not a big champion.

As the newspaper ironically states Andy doesnt mention that the Leopard team did something similar when TGBM had a flat tire in TdS.

Well as much as I like Andy in no way is he a big champion yet so he will have to wait for his 1st win to cut out any unsportsman like behaviour.

Geez it's a bike Race, you take your knocks and keep on riding....minus all the whining...It's a sport for Strong Men! Ride On!

The Shlecks think Everyone should stop for them, but they take advantage every time someone else has a problem....Andy should learn to shift properly and stop crying like a baby.

I don't think anyone should stop for anything or anyone!

Hope turn around is fair play and LT has an incident and everyone rides on :)

Ride On! What is this waiting stuff and phony sportsmanship crap? Flats and broken wheels and the like are the risks of the sport I think. I can't think of another sport that has such BS. If you don't want flats ride heaver tires! If you don't want your chain to jam learn how to shift! If you don't want to crash into someone else ride in the front ect.

Besides the irony of the TGBM incident in TdS its also rather iroic that Andy could have lost the race on one of the first stages if the peloton (aka Fabian) didnt cancel the stage. If Astana and Contador had chosen to ride hard at that time, Andy and Frank would have lost minutes.

did they do it again today? i missed that part of the race

With around 50km to go, well after the major crashes, CN's live feed stated that "Garmin is on the front again. Race statistics has shown the US team has been on the front for 88% of the stage today."

So I find it hard to believe that Leopard-Trek was responsible for any major push to distance those who crashed.
