Floyd was the subject of some judicial punishment for having gone public accusing athletes and sports leaders?

uci threatened floyd with legal action it never happened

floyd may face federal action over the floyd fairness fund not because he went public

remember this thread is armstrong usada phase 2

so what the **** are you talking about?

justice

Did I question the AAA protocol? Did I say it was flawed and corrupt? Neither. You responded to a post of mine about the USADA not the arbitration process.

Did I anywhere demonstrate that I've been off the grid and lost all linguistic faculties such that I might be unaware of or incapable of comprhending Spark's decision? No.

How about "imperfect," will that soothe your righteousness?

Tygart recently used the phrase "perfect justice,"
you'll excuse me if I'm skeptical of anyone claiming such idealism, let alone how they square all their actions with the realities of the world.

simple ol' me thinks that perfect justice is where the guilty are accountable for their actions

usada seem to have done a good job

remember team armstrong are better at endless bs with zero content

did not know Axel Merckx worked with Ferrari, makes a lot of sense why he & his dad are now defending Lance

I guess Merckx was on a commision for evey cyclist he brought to Ferarri and it might come out.

ROTFLMAO! love the bit at the end about his testicle working harder than a call girl at the Rep's convention..... :D

If you consider Armstrong is known for his 'Tiger' antics that is one hard working nut.

If memory serves, that would be the appearance you gave to some of the less than thoughtful, let's say, in the politics threads who routinely projected your possible motivations and caricatured and belittled your positions. Didn't seem to slow your post count.....

Floyd vs UCI

There is a pending legal action of the UCI against Floyd here in Switzerland. Our state's department of justice just published a request for Floyd to take position on the legal action against him in May 2011. They don't know his current address so cannot serve him.

I find the coincidence funny. I hope that Floyd's attacks on the UCI, Pat and Hein will be vindicated.

(In French).

Don't know if this has been posted, but I saw this on Velonews' forum. It's the Dan Patrick podcast (hour 3, Aug 24) also available on iTunes. Travis Tygart interview:

Also a great podcast that everyone should be listening to, the Velocast, has a "Lance Armstrong Special Episode". Great pod!

Excellent post. Both pretty much say very clearly what has been discussed here all along. Much appreciated.

No Chewie, that is not all I do. In point of fact I have never suggested such a thing. I have, however, suggested that their methods are less than honorable.

Ah, UCI, maybe because only people who were glued to Bicycling and Versus believed that Pat and Hein had cycling's best interests in mind. (To the extent that they know who they are.)

Sorry, I leave the numbing task of repeating the obvious daily to those who embrace it.

Which timeline? Do enlighten me, but do it without twisting my words to fit a default position of antagonist....

A couple of things:

1. Not embracing the obvious could also be read as you denying reality.

2. My reference was to your timeline regarding the USADA taking so long to prosecute the case. As I read it, you were suggesting earlier that the USADA waited to pursue the evidence when in reality, the evidence necessary to pursue the case did not develop until Floyd came forward. If you can't get anyone to talk, you can't pursue a case very well. If you have backed away from this, then I apologize for insinuating your timeline is flawed. If not, I stand by my statement.

I've been thinking about the Science of Sport's "conspiracy theory" comment and was wondering just how many people/organizations would have to be involved in this conspiracy. I was trying to come up with a list to present to the "theorists"

1. USADA
2. WADA
3. Tygart
4. Sparks
5. Floyd
6. Tyler
7. 8+ other cyclists (GH,LL,CV,DZ,JV,????)
8. Frankie
9. Betsy
10. Mike Anderson
11. Emma O'Reilly
12. Julien Devries?
13. Michel Rieu (AFLD) now that he said Lance got special treatment

Who else would have to be in on it?

Isn't the next step for USADA to send their 'reasoned decision' doc to the UCI?

Will the public (us LOL) be able to see this document?

Good question.

Carol, note that we have not seen the letters to Ferrari or del Moral or Marti or Armstrong. And we have not seen the similar letters to UCI or WADA regarding the first three, so we can expect not to see the last one on Lance.

Why? This has to do with who is responsible for leaking the information.

We letter to UCI and WADA will likely show in the "reasoned decision" that there is a link to UCI. So it will not be leaked (by UCI). Just as the letter to Lance probably contained some loaded reasoning that Lance too does not want the public to see.

From what we have seen of leaks in this case, the USADA is not doing the leaking. And why would they?

Judge Sam Sparks definitely turned out to be a rotten apple. (What a lousy Texan he is.)

You shouldn't take this all the way to the top, but . . . well, it is Lance Armstrong. Sooner or later we will have to implicate President Obama in this.

Actually it is obvious Obama masterminded the who thing because he did not shut down the USADA after Congressman Sensenbrenner sent him that crafted letter from Lance's DC lobby group.

Tyler Hamilton’s book will be released two weeks earlier than originally planned.

“The Secret Race: Inside the Hidden World of the Tour de France: Doping, Cover-ups, and Winning at All Costs,” release schedule has moved up to Sept. 5.

It will be a bit of a distraction for a day or two from The Clinic.

Can't wait! Pre-ordered already since RaceRadio commented about the first date.
