What if Lance does get off and several co-operative witnesses have already incriminated themselves? The rest of US Postal etc. suffers a similar fate to Floyd & Tyler, whilst Lance slides. Surely no-one would stand for that. It'd be like a banker acting fraudulently, bringing down his enterprise & severely impacting the global economy and then expecting not only no sanction, but to be rescued by those upon whom the fraud was perpetrated.

Yeah! Like the Bolsheviks and the Tsar!
Julius Caesar and the Rubicon!
Bernard Hinault on a mad breakaway!

You do realize the only person that has been charged out of the entire global banking crisis was a whistleblower?

Mr. Birkenfeld's voluntary disclosures directly led to the recovery of billions of taxpayers dollars and the end of the illegal UBS tax fraud scheme. Despite his invaluable contribution, Mr. Birkenfeld began serving a 40-month prison sentence on January 8, 2010.*In return for his extraordinary cooperation with the U.S. government, Mr. Birkenfeld remains the only person involved the in the largest illegal tax scheme in history to receive a lengthy prison sentence. He also spent over 19 months in a home confinement program, which included electronic monitoring, a curfew, and travel restrictions. So far, everyone prosecuted in relation to the UBS tax scheme has received minor sentences, including probation, fines, community service, no more than 3 months in prison and/or house arrest. The director of the entire UBS program, Martin Liechti, was released by U.S. authorities and allowed to return to Switzerland without any prosecution.

Epic post! This agrees with my primitive, non-lawyer understanding of how USADA derives any authority. The rider essentially agrees they USADA are the authority and to abide by their processes.
..

Of course the riders do it. They have no choice, everybody does it. Everybody signs off on USADA. If you want to ride in the bigs - you sign.
What is a young rider supposed to do? Not sign? Get serious.

But do not worry young rider - if you DO break the USADA code you can always snitch. Sign/Ride/Dope/Snitch/SweetDeal.

NOW SIGN.

What the heck is this "keeping the names secret" for fear of "intimidation".

Floyd/Tyler/Betsy/Greg/ intimidated? Come on.
JV/CVV/DZ/LL intimidated? Doubt that.
Emma intimidated? Please. "Lance is going to pick on Emma big bully that he is". Give it a break haters.
Big George Intimidated? Maybe intimidated by the Giant Guilt Trip Lance would lay on him. "George, how could you?" George buddy". Major Guilt Trip there. I guess that might be intimidating.

And what is this about only using SSDD in the hearing? No new stuff?
Only stuff in the "public domain"? Is the Big George leak from 60mins considered "public domain"? Can Big George answer Lance by saying "I had no choice Lance. You know, public domain thing. But I did not put it into the public domain Lance. Not my fault, Lance"

And what about the stuff the USADA is not releasing for "fear of intimidation"?
Will the USADA use that info to charge others or keep it secret? Are some of the riders intimidating the USADA? "You told us Lance was going down, and you would take us down with him if we did not cooperate"

i think in reality its more about not giving lance et al. the chance to smear their names in public.
calling them liars, haters, etc. has been LA"s main (if not only) line of defense against floyds and tylers allegations.

Poilsh...out of respect for other forum members, I will not quote you, but your continual nonsensical obfuscation is now being ignored by one more member. Soon you will be the only one seeing your posts.

Mods, I would suggest that a way for members to view who is ignoring themselves may be a good thing. If it became obvious to some that what they say is becoming ever closer to a discussion with only themselves, maybe they would wake up or give up.

I'm of the opinion that when it comes to intimidation of witnesses its not something the mods should allow to be joked about. The repercussions of these actions are very serious and allowing them to be bandied about on an internet forum is worrying.

The witnesses whom ever they are deserve to be protected along with Armstrong's presumption of innocence.

I will just have to disagree. I mean, c'mon, what ever happened to the "no one cares about Lance anymore. Riders are lining up to testify".

But the USADA Review Board now seems to be indicating that 10+ riders will NOT be testifying. Why did the USADA even use the "10+" in their 15 page letter in the first place ? And only now they are stepping back and saying it will be less due to intimidation? Did Lance all of a sudden look more intimidating? Last month 10+, this month not 10+. Why the backtrack now. Lance has always been an indimidating fellow. It is one of his quiver arrows that make him awesome.

Nice load of piffle.

Seems to who? You?

Interesting that Lance Armstrong is your first follower on Twitter?

https://twitter.com/#!/PPolish/followers

Why would that be?

There you have three. At a guess two others being associates would be Emma O Reilly and Betsy Andreu. So that is five of the ten .

Any guesses on the other 5. Will big George break his silence at last?

got to be:

Dave Z.
Levi
Christian VDV
Hincapie
Vaughters

What was the name of that British fellow on Twitter that messaged LA a few years back mentioning the Doping word... and who Lance shared his email address with his Twitter followers to let them send abusive messages?

And that was when things were still looking rosy!

I don't use ignore, I just skip over trolls...like this post.

Me too - finally. There's just nothing of value there in terms of information, and any marginal humor in Polish's schtick was over a long time ago.

Careful everyone, pointing out the obvious fact that Polish is a "t-word" or that he should be ignored will get your post deleted, and maybe even a warning. Polish only provides insightful counter content here, nothing more. His posts are only colorful attempts at honest, serious discourse. Don't try to buck the party line on that or you will be punished. If you put him on ignore, keep it on the DL. You are not allowed to tell anyone that. I have a couple of deletions to prove it. Careful everyone.

EDIT: oh yea, SSDD.......SSDD

Wow. @usantidoping can pick em. Here's (http://tinyurl.com/cgxmzwq ) 1 of 3 Review Board members studying my case. ‪#protectingcleanathletesandpervs‬

I have no idea if this guy is on the review board but does it seem low to use the molestation of a young women as fodder to get your point across?

It would be fitting that the review board memeber be subject to the same guilty until proven innocent that Armstrong is currently under.

Mr.Griffith may indeed be innocent but that is not part of the current system. To be accused makes you guilty. Griffith will have to stop teaching, and Armstrong will be unable to race just by being accused.

I hope that both men find some truth through the courts but it's highly unlikely. In the previous threads Armstrong was convicted by Novitzky and lost his wealth, status and athletic accomplishments. That system decided that that was not to be.
Now Armstrong will suffer through another process that is a circus at best. The names not included in the action filed against Armstrong are telling toward their motives.

I hope that Mr.Griffith only suffers shortly from how wide and misdirected things can become if he is innocent.
If he did put a 24yo olds hand on his junk or bared his bag to her uninvited he should pay the price. The use of word molestation is used for kids most often but I guess it fits.

I look forward to posters explaining why Mr.Griffith's conduct to a student has little to do with his overall judgement

Mr. Griffith pleaded guilty. Something Armstrong has yet to do.
