I'm guessing that because Armstrong now lives in Aspen (can someone correct me if I'm wrong) 2am EDT would be 00:00 Mountain time. Thus giving Armstrong right until the end of the day that the deadline is set in the timezone that he is in.

The funny thing is that there is an opportunity to do some sort of admission, even if it is a JV-like non-admission admission. He could throw people a bone so he does not seem like he is treating everyone like idiots. He could point out how bad the cycling environment was. Even if was just to soften the ground for the future, he could give a little. Instead it looks like he will continue lying.
