I'd say the Manchurian Candidate was better by a long way and The Day of the Jackal was just a little bit better.

Agree, Mark.
Zinemman's movie is great. Much better than the remake with B. Willis.
Cheers.

Care to enlighten us then?!! The suspense is almost unbearable!

he's not going to arbitration, will cite UCI backing and say the USADA process is illegitimate.

what will follow will be extremely divisive for the cycling world as people are asked to state whether they recognize lance armstrong as a seven time winner or not. it's unclear what pro teams will say.

wow so many people commenting on there that have no clue at all what's really gone down

Prejudices, it is well known, are most difficult to eradicate from the heart whose soil has never been loosened or fertilized by education; they grow there, firm as weeds among stones. [Charlotte Bronte]

.... and feed but on the morsels that are feed them by a wilful media?

I think Mr. Armstrong will set a defiant tone in his press conferance, especially if there are cameras there. He will reject all charges and says he will overcome the odds despite having the process rigged against him. This is what he did with his cancer and this is how he won his 7 TdF titles.

He will fight this fight in public, so that his fans can see the one sided process he is up against.

I think this will be the gist of his press conference.

So just a few hours more, to see if I am right(public arbitration). Sadly CET forces me to go to sleep.

I wonder if Pat can sleep tonight:rolleyes:

You cant make.this stuff up, seriously.

It is too bad there will not be a televised press conference. We could have drawn up rules for a drinking game or put the standard talking points on bingo cards.

I made a word puzzle to pass the time.

Pain is temporary; It may last a minute, hour, day, or a year, but eventually it will subside. If I quit it lasts forever - Lance Armstrong
