Bruyneel recently said he's best buddies with Armstrong first and foremost, and that he isn't afraid of this case hurting his career because his career is set. Furthermore, why would he go to arbitration knowing he would lose? I think he'll end up doing whatever Armstrong thinks is best. He probably requested the arbitration just to keep that door open just in case and as a possible way to gather intelligence.

I could see him hoping to get just a two year ban.

HA Just read this: Unless Mr. Tygart received a pay cut last year, he’s been paid a total of over $1.2 million in compensation and $100,000 in bonuses over the past four years. The spokesperson at the USADA did respond to my e-mail, but she declined to comment whether Tygart’s bonuses were tied to finding a certain number of athletes or a particularly high profile athlete guilty of doping.

Finally, there’s the office of National Drug Control Policy. This is the branch of the Federal government that funds the USADA $10 million a year of federal tax dollars to operate. what's the point? when there is no chance of a fair trial, anymore, there's no point. it's pretty clear, when UCI was on his side in the civil suit, that they don't buy tygart's garbage. hope tygart and usada get what they deserve out of this and get decertified by the IOC. if they aren't sanctioned by the IOC, they are a pointless bunch of blowhards.

Is Johan guranteed set for Arbitration? I have to bet that Johan will do whatever Lance wants him to do and he will not enter arbitration and allow the evidence to leak out.

Wrong. Lance will never dispute doping charges in a forum in which evidence of his doping can be presented. Instead, he will attack USADA on jurisdictional and other procedural grounds. This fight is not nearly over.
