Ouch - I agree, that is nasty.

While he deserves a sanction - no-one deserves a nasty injury.
In particular as I know what its like to break the Tib & Fib.

Not that I believe in it - but could be fate! - doesn't look like he's gonna get any sanction soon

Do we know that this wasn't caused by another agent of Lance/Nein/Phat to keep him quiet?

Dave.

A bit puzzled by this. The decision should have been handed down last week, not sure why it is not out yet

Wrangling over terms. If a small time doper can delay an announcement, then surely it's happening at this hearing.

He has turned states evidence against the Garmin five. :)

It will be very uncomfortable for USADA if the panel rejects a lifetime ban and tolling the SOL.

The arbitration decision is due any day. Johan knows he lost so he talked to newspaper and smeared a bunch of the usual targets Contador, Frankie, and JV.

The further out we get from contador's positive the more likely that guy was done in by the federation and Team Armstrong. Landis too.

Let's see what new information arises.

Whilst Dirty Bertie is a doper and deserved his ban(should be a life ban, but that's just my view). It wouldn't surprise or shock me one little bit if Armstrong played a role somewhere.

Perhaps a deliberate little shell game with Tyler's blood bags as well?

These are the dirtiest of little secrets in this sordid affair that I would love to see unraveled.

Agreed on all points here. Life ban for Clentadoppucci and Armstrong's role.

I have to laugh at all the speculation about what is going to happen, when we don't know what is going to happen. Let's wait for the arbitrators decision and then debate the heck out of it!

Lance and Johan have used the same tactic for years. Stall, delay, clog. It works for a while but in the end they lose. They always lose. It may take a while but they lose.

Johan has done a good job of delaying the arbitration, delaying the results.....but the end result will be the same and it will be coming soon. Poor Johan has tried to spin it, say he was not the monster the press makes him out to be. Promised his mom it was all lies, he is not a bad guy..... It will be clear who was lying when the decision comes. Mom will be mad.

Johan is still delusional. Thinks he could still work in the sport. Hopefully this drives him to appeal to CAS and burn even more of his increasingly limited reserves. Even better would be to see him come to the US. That would be fun

A decision on Johan can't come soon enough. His mess has been dragged out for way too long. Is there any chance AAA/USADA will publish a longer reasoned decision than the usual short announcement of the sanction?

Why is Bruyneel any different to Martinelli, Amadio, Riis, Lefevere et al?

Oh wait, the other guys are still active in the sport.

You forgot Brailsford, Vaughters, Savio, Reverberi, Vino, Ekimov, just about anyone in the sport.

ADD has nothing on Riis that isn't more than 8 years ago...

This. Also can't see anything coming out of the ADD investigation (a sanction etc), they promised the verdict/ruling at the beginning of the year and still nothing, but guess we'll see.

What case would be brought against Riis that was any different than that brought against Bruyneel?

tbh I don't know if SOL was tolled and if so why against Bruyneel, but I doubt it will against Riis.
