Maybe that's the reason why he is 40 seconds slower than the rest, but generally he finishes in the bottom 10 of pro TT so it's not that much out of character for him.

I enjoy when Phil goes to do all the TV intros and commercial breaks. Paul by himself is much better. He actually knows who the cyclists are!!

And Paul doesn't mention Lance with the same Lance:minute ratio as Phil.

No, this is very common for European teams, to leave their TT bikes at home.

Same thing happened in Oman when in fact ALL teams rode without TT bike

How ironic. The one time a "TGBM is giving the others a head start" type joke would actually make sense, Mollema decides to do the Vuelta instead.

Also i think this is more uncommon because in Oman all the teams decide to leave their tt bikes whereas here its only a few.

And surprising considering Rabos push for West US.
