It's the Conti teams that are bringing all these moves back. Trying to get their own men there.

Seems like it will be all together for the intermediate sprint, as probably planned.
After we should get a real breakaway.

Tracker's got some cool live power numbers for a few riders, including Sevilla and Rovny.

These two commentators are so much better than Phil and Paul that it's almost tragic.

Haha. I was just thinking that.

A few months ago I read some interview with P&P and they were saying that they catch crap for their lame commentating, but they have to do it that way in order to "inform" those new to cycling. These 2 guys from VeloNews are far more informative.

Commentators talking up the crosswinds again, probably guaranteeing that there will be no echelons at all.

Also, enjoy it while you can. You know that as soon as they begin to descend Cottonwood, Phil and Paul will take over.

Some of the faces from the likes of Schleck and Van Garderen yesterday showed how tough that really was.

Much as I am loathe to defend them, I think they have a point. When I was a kid watching the Tour de France I really appreciated Phil and Paul's commentary because it taught me all the basics of the sport. As I've grown more knowledgeable and they've grown more senile I have lost my love for them but newcomers to the sport still like them.

To quote one of the race's founding fathers:

As soon as the last helper from Rabo swapped up, I said, ‘Andy if you can go now would be a good moment’, and I got a really angry hate look from him.
