TFF's Cav-related troll thread got shut down, so I get that you had to start a new one cos it's nearly the off-season and you are bored, but you could have put a bit more effort in. Even the out-of-context incomplete quote you based your insults around paints Cav as, at worst, a workaholic, and it took about five posts for someone to find the rest of it where TJVG says how much he loves riding for HTC.

This is hardly a new story....I am pretty sure that I read that on here or one of the other sites when the vuelta was running....but whatever floats your boat.

What's this then? Proven winner in "wanting to prepare properly" shocker? Whatever next?

It sounds like Cav is running into the same problem Napoleon had. Nobody likes a bossy midget.

MC would never be considered a midget here in the New World.

"According to the Little People of America, dwarfism is "a medical or genetic condition that usually results in an adult height of 4'10" (147 cm) [1] or shorter, among both men and women, although in some cases a person with a dwarfing condition may be slightly taller than that."

MC must be taller than that, isn't he?

A midget is a dwarf with proportions of a "normal" person.

Also, Napoleon was 5' 7", which was about average height for men of his time period. The image of him as being short was created by the British popular press at the time.

Yeh, cav's not a team player, thats why he was driving the manx team car today, and spent the morning lugging around wheels, bikes etc for the team.

And in a team time trial. It's hardly "me, me, me", is it?

Steve

PS Who is the other "hated" British rider that makes up the top 2?

The usual rubbish I have come to expect. The quote comes from procycling magazine and you seem to be missing the final part of the quote, which I am sure was an oversight on your part and not a bitter "douchebag" trying to create a story that does not exist for his own ends.

"But its why I absolutely love being on this team. We laugh and joke and we're always taking the **** out of each other. It's a good vibe. And we nailed that team time trial"

Yes it really sounds like he has a serious issue with Cav. FFS.

Bwahahahahaha!!! Thanks for giving us the complete story.

I can understand it, that why I don't like you. All you do is post dumb posts slagging riders off. You obviously get of on it but it doesn't make you less of a tosser.

He may look like an idiot and write like an idiot and complain about others like and idiot but don't let that fool you. He really is an idiot.

I thought it would be. (After all, there's really only 3 British riders and Millar is quite charming.)

Teejay! Good onya my boy! I just find it funny that two of the most hated riders on this forum are british!

In a strange coincidence, there are very few posters on this forum who live in countries that werent at one point ruled or occupied by the British.

The key part of that sentence is "at one point." We got out when the gettin' was good and never looked back.

Yep. Crazy coincidence on an English language forum.

This thread sucks due to the selection of only a few choice comments from the interview. It was somewhat revived by the reintroduction of 'fartknocker'.

TSF - Cav only drove the team car so that another rider couldn't get to the start line on time. ;)
