if Liqui can win both yellow and green, that is a heavy blow to Sky's face. UK media is getting crazy, saying Wiggins can ride everyone off his wheel in the mountain:eek:

And where exactly are they saying that?

British Humour:D

Tomorrow, I guess GC contenders will see at each other until the last 400 mt. Both Nibali and Sanchez must attack in prospect for the first TT.

Vincenzo Nibali fears Evans, but not Wiggins as he's not impressed by his climbing: "I do not feel inferior to him, far from it." Nibali says it's up to him to figure out a way to gain time.

haha he also said one wet day in the mountain Wiggins' tour would be over and Evans is better than Wiggins anyway.

Impressive. Hoped he could win though.
I still think it's gonna be really hard to podium the TdF.

I was surprised to see him up there until the end. Skys train suits him very well.
Let's hope he'll animate the race over the next two weeks.

+1 one of the only guys at this point who can derail the sky train with an attack, hope he does so.

podium depends how he time trails which I don't think it is a problem
but to win the yellow Nibali has to fight his heart out, which I think he can do it:D

Good performance today, held his own when Many crumbled! But a little disappointing, I was hoping for an attack.....he needs to find some way to get the time he'll lose in the ITTS. Samu, Nibali, Evans and Valverde all together going downhill would help :) Take that Wiggo!!!

short steep climb is never the cup of tea of Nibali, sky tempo setting actually fits Nibali style

Yeah well he's going to need that Sky train because Sylvester and Ivan disappeared way to early :(

i think most people before this stage though this is a non-important stage, it is possible Basso And Sylvester are saving energy trying to help Nibali in later key stages

I'm rooting for Nibali, he's the only GC-man in this race that I like, but I can't see how he can beat Wiggins, when wiggins is even beating him in stages like today. Downhill attacks well and good, fun to watch, but I fear not enough.

Nibali options are in tricky stages if Sky lose the control.

true, tomorrow could be an example and I am very eager to see how Nibali is going to perform 40km ITT

Isn't finish to far out from bottom of last climb??? Especially the day before a very important ITT....

that is one concern, Nibali should feel more safe if he can take some time on this stage. But who knows, let's see how race unfolds tomorrow. But I feel if the opportunity presents itself, Nibali will give it a go. (like working with Evans, Sagan etc.)

Just posting here to say I'll cheer for Nibali for the rest of the Tour. Unless Samu pulls five tricks at once and gets back in contention suddenly, then I will betray and backstab you lot :p
