Just posting here to say I'll cheer for Nibali for the rest of the Tour. Unless Samu pulls five tricks at once and gets back in contention suddenly, then I will betray and backstab you lot :p

Thank you for your support(for now):D

Thanks for the warm welcome. Mind you, I will not support him first and foremost, spamming his name everywhere, I will just be quietly happy if he beats the rest :)

No problem...I'm just hoping he makes the podium :) That will be a big ask with all the ITT kms, but he is a gutsy, determined rider who isn't afraid to take some risks...so I'll cheer him on!!!! Go Shark!!!

A not very secret Alberto fan.....but Vincenzo is #2 on my current fav list and AC isn't here.

Nibali is playing head games: "Froome was the most impressive" "My impression was that the strongest acceleration came from Froome and not from Wiggins,"

Psycho war is on,
Nibali "we were all on the limit, Froom impress me most"

Wiggins" I and Froom are not even at full gas yet"

Well there is no doubt in my mind that Froome was the strongest today....that being said Wiggins and Evans were 5 secs stronger than the Shark :(

Yeah well he's going to need that Sky train because Sylvester and Ivan disappeared way to early :(

Szmyd hasn't been a useful domestique for two years.
Basso is coming from the Giro and realistically you couldn't expexct much more.
I don't think they'll be of much help on the mountains.

that is why they are saving energy right now, trying to help Nibali in key stages in the third week

So a move to another team is good.

Head games, but also the truth.

you are full of S**T, he said he was at his limit and he could not sprint.

And nobody can compete with Sky "MAGIC" ride anyway

I think you might want to take that back...

"A good test, has been harder that expected.Sky did a fast pace.I desired to sprint but it doesn't worth the effort" - Vincenzo Nibali

That quote wasn't included in that article you have linked above.

I will be awaiting your apology.

LOL who is this alberto celani? How do I know his words are true?

"In the finale, I did want to have a go in the sprint but it was very hard because we were all stretched out metres from one another," Nibali said.

He does work for France24, a race broadcaster and someone who is working with at the Tour de France in the media. Again, the "you are full of ****" is totally unnecessary. He is also Italian so he would have got different quotes than the English speaking journalists would have gotten.

I heard his words on RAI and he never said he decided not to sprint. He said: "I didn't have legs to".

The comments in L'Equipe and then after the stage when he said that he lost a little bit of time because he "decided not to sprint".
As always you're lack of arguments is pathetic. Go back to the Evans thread. :D

Nibali's seems to be doing more trash-talking in the interviews today, especially about Wiggins and Sky according to some reporters. Hilarious. But I'm pretty sure he's noticed something we don't know.

From what I've read/heard he didn't trash-talk at all. Where did you find this?
