I'm very impressed by his ITT. Just 1.10 behind Cancellara is a wonderful effort.
I'm not discussing Sky because this is not the right place.

Now honestly I don't think there's a way to break them. They're just a level above anybody else and probably will go for the 1-2. But sure he can test them attacking wherever there's room for it. Evans doesn't look as strong as last year, and Nibs ahs already beaten him in a GT before. The podium is possible.

I have a good feeling about Nibali's form this year... he would have been awesome to watch in the Giro, but ahh well, he will give the tour some excitement!

He put in a great ITT :) Shame he still lost 2 minutes :(

Need Liqui/BMC?/Lotto and Katusha to take on Sky train so JVDB, Nibs, Evans and Menchov can all ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK!!! Oh and pray for rain in the mountains.

Given the opportunity there is time to be gained....hopefully enough for a podium. With the long, flat ITT no way he can win unless Wiggins/Froome/Evans fail big time somewhere along the line :(

they put 1min into Cancellara, what can you do?
but I think Nibali will put time into Evans and Mechov, and safely secure third place.

Huge TT today, I think he is not afraid of SKY power and will try something at risk of lost all

Impressive TT today. I can't wait see him ruling the giro. I guess, after re-giving a look to dauphine's stage 4 classification, Vincenzo can really find his peak form during last week.
Actual situation could strike a balance beetwen Nibali and Evans, but I actually don't trust in it.

Good news for wednesday : moderate rainy weather!

I swear by Nibali.

“Ivan Basso will be a fundamental rider for me,” he added. “He’s riding into a good rhythm and I know he’ll help me to make a difference. There are also opponents in the same situation as me and, if we get the right chance, we could form some form of alliance. There are also some riders further down the GC who might want to try an early break to get themselves back in the game. There are so many variables that can influence and change the race.”

“My style of racing won’t change,” he concluded. “I’m an attacker, someone who tries hard and that’s what I’ll do from here to Paris to get the best possible result and finish without any regrets.”

Need Ligui, Katusha, Lotto, BMC and RSNT to help break the race apart!!! Then our boy can climb up the GC :)

The Shark will not just bow out and lay low; he will Attack!!!

Liqui has to send some very capable men into breakaway, then Nibali either attack on Colombier or downhill, then join his helper to ride as hard as possible to get over Richemond, then drive home downhill:D

And in ASO mind, they think this kinda of parcourse may encourage long range attack and cause big time gaps. Let's see how it goes tomorrow. If huge gaps do happen, I think we will see more similar parcourse in the future tour.

“Wiggins and Froome were beaten by Cobo in the Vuelta last year,” he pointed out. “We’ll have to see in Paris.”:D

Get Szmyd and Basso to set an infernal pace on the Grand Colombier and on the Croix de Fer. That will hopefully occur and would be fun.

Evans has said he is feeling better every day. I think he is more peaking for the last half of the race. Last year he was at peak from the start of the race. We'll see but Evans would be dissapointed to only get a small amount of time on Wiggins.

I have doubt about Szmyd , hopefully he is saving energy to help Nibaly in key stages. Well SKY has "non-human" pace too, i doubt Basso can set up even higher pace
