SafeBet said:I thought this was a good stage for him and he delivered. Very unfortunate that he crashed when following Froome, he looked great. I'm very afraid for the 65km stage though, even if he improves in the third week.
Great news, so the time gap gets neutralized, right?Mayomaniac said:Apparently Nibali has confirmed that it was a motobike.

On Italian TV right now, saying that he was feeling great, the first attack was just to test the waters and to see how the others would react, saying that things like that can happen with all those fans and the situation is a bit different, because back then Froome was wearing the Yellow Jersey.Gigs_98 said:Great news, so the time gap gets neutralized, right?Mayomaniac said:Apparently Nibali has confirmed that it was a motobike.![]()
So we basically have confirmation that rules don't matter, only who is screwed over?Mayomaniac said:On Italian TV right now, saying that he was feeling great, the first attack was just to test the waters and to see how the others would react, saying that things like that can happen with all those fans and the situation is a bit different, because back then Froome was wearing the Yellow Jersey.Gigs_98 said:Great news, so the time gap gets neutralized, right?Mayomaniac said:Apparently Nibali has confirmed that it was a motobike.![]()

With Thomas, Froome and Dumoulin all being not certain for week 3, he is the 1st after that
Why do you think they stopped? To ***** wait for him? It was a stage that suited him, he is obviously in good form and when he is, nobody drops him on multi mountain hard ridden long stages. Not even Froome.Matteo. said:how many certainties. he would have won, he was the strongest. meh.
he was certainly good, but many times they stopped in front. we will see him in the last week
Very much doubt it could have been worse. He was certainly better than Landa. That said, I agree that he could only close the gap because everyone was slowing down, but I still think there is a chance he could have won today.Dekker_Tifosi said:Dude still finished at 13s because the front slowed down.
