I wish races like that were a bigger thing.

"Nibali has troubles with everyone, and everyone has troubles with him. Sometimes he comes next to you and talks, but the next day he can walk past you without saying anything. Of course, he knows what he does: he does it consciously"

In other words, he is an absolute pr!ck.

what a shocker.

that has been clear for years. Basically, in everything he does (hanging on to his team car at 60 mph) and says (come see my trophies).

If only nibali and valverde would just eff-ing retire already. And good riddance.

I was thinking at least 500-1 just from the 2011 crash, his age, lack of results and racing, he said he was retiring, and how random the Olympics are. We need to find who bet on him.
Actually his odds were 50-1 according to this article

Eventhough he was 38 and going to retire, towards the end of that tour he was showing a little bit of form when in the breakaways, plus just because of his track record, he wouldn't get an extremely long odds. His name would attract betting, especially since he was the big name riding for his country. They wouldn't want to give him osmething like 150-1 or more odds because then every Kazakh that be interested in betting would have betted on him

Yeah odds move not based on actual chance but on betting traffic, etc in order to mitigate losses.

Nibali needs to be *** in the first part of next season, then show signs of life in the Ardennes coming in top 20 in both FW and LBL and then win an Olympic medal. Then goes missing in action for the rest of the season till the 2022 Ardennes campaign when he wins LBL. That would be a true Vino order of events. His Sanremo win was already a victory in the style of Vino. He would then become the right successor of the Vino option, we should call it "The Bag" option.
