lol at the guy who said Quintana was the leader, looks like Movistar decided Pardilla was the better option for the front group..

quintana had a flat tire, I read. while valverde crashed. that's why quintana was in that group

I thought Gesink was the first Rabo over the top. The rest caught back. He was momentarily dropped though because he sat after Wiggins and Wiggins let gaps everywhere in the downhill.
I think I saw him fly past Wiggo at some point, who already misjudged the first corner. Gesink is currently better on the flats and descents than on the climbs ;)

Interesting tactic from Movistar, their team leader (;)) working for Valverde.

Andy arrives with Valverde 2mins down

Yesterday Eurosport promised its viewers that Andy was here to prove something, to avenge his honor after having to pull out of PN. Wonder what happened to Andy today? We know Valv was dropped because of a puncture and a crash. I await Andy's excuse for today's blistering performance. :p

Albasini has this in the bag. 1.30 ahead with tomorrow the only stage likly to drop him on

At least they will go fast up the last climb now instead of waiting for the last 5 (3) km.

Albasini seems to be an excellent form though to be able to win today.

This is normally the kind of climb which suits him though. Tomorrow, not so much.

Let's hope tomorrow's stage doesn't get cancelled.

It's allright. The outstanding champion doesn't have to give himself to grateful public completely on all races he rides.

I saw another Astana lead the next big group in at around 41". I would say it looked like Brajkovic (peaked cap), not sure though.

Well, now Cyclingnews is reporting it's Kiserlovski and not Dyachenko who finished 10th.

edit-
Duh, Kiserlovski is 10th and Dyachenko 15th.
Got all excited for the boy and gave him 5 extra spots on the stage.
