Cort continues to improve race-by race - Orica will need to get out the cheque book to retain his service.

Very much so !! Having said that, they actually got a lot of their big budget deals out of the way last year and he is probably their top "re-sign" priority for this year. They have 2 near certain retirements in Tuft and Hayman and if Gerrans also pulls the plug then that should free up some significant $$$.

Sounds like Sky is not going with the strongest rider. They just give full support to Poels. Guess they want to keep him happy more than they want to win this race. Makes sense

And Kwaito gave up everything for this ???....

Probably for leadership in Ardennes. We will see. This season is insanely important for Kwiatkowski. Either he manages to significantly improve his climbing, or its time to get back to classics for good

Poels in leader in Ardennes along with Sergio Henao and even Rosa

Poels and Heano are more important to SKY than Kwaito ...they can help win the Tour and Poels is already an Ardennes winner

The thing for Kwait losing alot of weight has not worked for him...It doesn't work for Thomas and it didn't work for Roche either at SKY

Not everyone is Froome or Wiggins and can be skeleton (after 8 weeks weigh loss) and keep power or not get sick

Kwait needs to leave the weight or put on some and go for cobbled classics imo

Poels has the same number of wins in the Ardennes as Kwiatkowski and I would say on paper the Pole is more likely to win another. Problem is his lack of consistency but the same goes for Poels. Kwiatkowski should always be their leader in those races if he has halfway decent form. We saw at Quickstep what he is capable of.

I'd say Kwito would be their best best in AGR, Henao in F-W and probably Poels in L-B-L, altho Henao and Kwito also would be able to win that race. Poels could potentially also win F-W, but I very, very much doubt that. Then you have Rosa as the joker in all those races as well.

Great victory by tony martin in the other day. Hopefully he will deliver in cobbled classics. Quintana looks good too (but he must be careful with his form or he will be overcooked before july)

Condor peaking early?

Quintana is in great form while some of the other riders targetting the Giro ie Amador, SK, Pinot, (one of the Yates) ,, Zakarin , etc still have alot to do

Wonder if its wise that Quintana is flying now given he wants to win both Giro & Tour ...and acording to Kirby will ride the Vuelta (not that Kirby has a clue)....Seems along time to maintain form but who knows

Quintana took it easy at begining of season last year and it didn't work....now he is going all out
