Can someone tell me exactly what he does politically? I alway see people say he is a politician now as well, but all I can find is he ran for the PS in Viana do Castelo last year and lost to PAF. Is there anything more to add?

No problemo.

Amaro Antunes, António Carvalho and Frederico Figueiredo already 30s down, Veloso has this in the bag yet again. I can't really see Joni Brandão holding him off in the TT.

Still holding out some hope for a crazy longe range move like Rui Sousa in 2008 that gives them the yellow jersey. I really want a portuguese young kid to win, it would be massive :)

Edit: Joaquim Silva (8th in l'Avenir 2014) and David Rodrigues (11th in Madrid, 9th in Asturias this year, terrible fields I know) looked like decent prospects but they don't seem like making an impact here. Also Nuno Bico seems a bit lost in Klein Constantia, I hope he gets some result this year.

W52 pulling? What the hell?

So embarassing. Veloso doesn't want his team mate to threaten his own chances.
what was that all about?

rtp1hd is nice.

Veloso being Veloso. First it was Delio, then in the prologue earlier in the race he was rambling about how he could have beaten his own team mate had he not had that mechanical, and now orders w52 to chase because he can't stand having a team mate in prime position, risking his own chance at glory and the team having to work for Vinhas. He is obsessed.

I think when they realised that Rui Vinhas dind´t have enough time to win the race ( 4 minutes it is not enought to him), they pulled. Maybe tomorrow he pretends to attack...

But he shouldn´t have pulled anymway
