This is the Algarve thread, and he posted Sky's Algarve team. I don't see the issue?Mr.White said:MatParker117 said:G, Kwait, Golas, Deignan, Nordhaug, Seb Henao, Puccio & Stannard is apparently Sky's team.
Did anyone asked?!
No worries as long as he also posts other teams' lineupsHugo Koblet said:This is the Algarve thread, and he posted Sky's Algarve team. I don't see the issue?Mr.White said:MatParker117 said:G, Kwait, Golas, Deignan, Nordhaug, Seb Henao, Puccio & Stannard is apparently Sky's team.

JRanton said:Hopefully G or Kwiat can inflict the first defeat of the season on Dirty Berty. We don't want him to build the sort of momentum or confidence that he gained in 2014. Then Poels to destroy him at Tirreno and Froomey to finish him off at Catalunya.![]()
Contador will ride Paris-Nice instead of Tirreno and Froome hasn't exactly been dominant at Catalunya durning the lest two years...JRanton said:Hopefully G or Kwiat can inflict the first defeat of the season on Dirty Berty. G and Kwait have a good shot at beating him here, I'll give you that.
Yeah, I agree with this. Sky is probably the biggest team in the sport so logically they have more followers and people willing to discuss the team and their riders.Bushman said:LaFlorecita said:No worries as long as he also posts other teams' lineupsHugo Koblet said:This is the Algarve thread, and he posted Sky's Algarve team. Why? of course he is entitled to only post the lineup of Team Sky if that is the team he follows primarily. Then other users who follow, Etixx, FDJ, Lampre, Tinkoff etc. closely can post their lineups.
Yep, Thomas and Kwiatkowski could take time on him in the ITT and I'm not sure the MTFs are hard enough to drop them. I can see Contador taking a few seconds on Malhao like in 2014 but Foia seems like a pretty shallow climb. Yet people like BigMac and portugal11 say it is a very hard climb so I don't know. But either way if Contador is in good shape he shouldn't lose too many seconds in the ITT.Mayomaniac said:Contador will ride Paris-Nice instead of Tirreno and Froome hasn't exactly been dominant at Catalunya durning the lest two years...JRanton said:Hopefully G or Kwiat can inflict the first defeat of the season on Dirty Berty. It would definitely be a huge boost for his confidence if he could win here but as he showed in 2014 he doesn't need it as long as his legs feel strong![]()
LaFlorecita said:It just comes across as a bit smug "look how great our team is" to me.
I didn't comment on it did I?! It annoyed me but I let it slide. The thing is: besides full startlists, for other teams no one posts lineups because no one cares about it. Why should it be any different for Sky? To me it is just annoying to constantly see Sky's lineup posted even when it's not even a confirmed team but just speculation by the poster and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who feels that way. As I said it comes across as "look at our very impressive team" (especially when accompanied by a comment such as "I wonder which Sky domestique will beat [insert star rider's name] this time" like in this thread) and that is just so not necessary.Bushman said:LaFlorecita said:It just comes across as a bit smug "look how great our team is" to me.
I honestly think that is mostly down to your dislike for Sky (or their fanboys at least). Posting starting lineups in a race thread is very common and has been going on before there was a lot of Sky fans here.
Yeah, not really steep and not super long either. I would like to hear BigMac's and portugal11's opinion.Walter Morgan said:Foia isn't a really hard climb.
