What a ride today though, saved us from yet another Sky or Quickstep win.

First time this year I watch cycling for more than 2 minutes.

I see that nothing has changed.

How often do we see attacks on the Fóia climb, honestly?

You really should have seen the Colombia race. That was a-freaking-mazing. Even though Sky were there with a strong team and tried to do ride train.
I wasn't referring to the passive racing, more to the infernal pace and huge gaps on such a lacklustre climb.

But you're right, perhaps I've been watching the wrong races.

Eh, okay?

I don't really know what you're alluding to, then. That Valgren and Kragh lose 50 seconds to Mas and Poels on a 7 km, 6.3% climb wouldn't seem like a huge gap to me.

It might only be because I'm Danish (and kinda weird) I notice this, but I'm rather amused by the way Kragh just stubbornly holds onto sixth place while the entire top-10 changes around him.

I also saw that and with the huge cushion he has to either side, I find it very unlikely that he will be passed by anyone or pass anyone in the rest of the race.

Edit: Maybe he can pass somebody tomorrow, but he will finish 6th after Malhão.

Spilak lost more, Aru lost almost 2 minutes.

But then again it's February and fields are split pretty thing right about now I guess.

Chapeau Pogacar! He does look young :)

The photo of Jasper Stuyven at the start looks like he's come straight from the emergency ward!

One of the things I love about cycling. Most of these dudes just get up and fight another round. Like last year Gilbert when he rode for 60 kilometers with a broken kneecap. Or when he won Amstel in 2017 with a kidney tear.
