Not as nearly amusing as he'd have with a nickname on my mind...armchairclimber said:Nickname him Pog, then he can have some of the amusing stuff written about Emanuel Pogatetz.

I wasn't referring to the passive racing, more to the infernal pace and huge gaps on such a lacklustre climb.tobydawq said:Red Rick said:First time this year I watch cycling for more than 2 minutes.

How often do we see attacks on the Fóia climb, honestly?
You really should have seen the Colombia race. That was a-freaking-mazing. Even though Sky were there with a strong team and tried to do ride train.

Eh, okay?
I don't really know what you're alluding to, then. That Valgren and Kragh lose 50 seconds to Mas and Poels on a 7 km, 6.3% climb wouldn't seem like a huge gap to me.
He's been bad last year but it's very early to assess his shape for 2019. Aru was never particularly good in prep races, even in his best seasons.Lequack said:Whatever happened to Aru the past few seasons? I miss him making faces with the top bunch.

Normally, yes. I noticed he did quite well yesterday on Foia, either he tested himself and is in great shape or maybe he went a bit too deep.tobydawq said:Robert5091 said:Today's ITT pick - QS's Lampaert (whilst keeping an eye on W52's Big Raúl!)
I think Küng will wipe the floor with the opposition.
