I understand he had his dream, how (clearly) improbable. I don't understand Jumbo going along with this for so long. Had he shifted focus he might have won some nice stages or nice TT's.
It hasn't cost Jumbo much tbh. He fit nicely into a D-team they would send to the Giro in the 2 previous years. I doubt Foss is on huge money and I doubt he'll get a huge contract from Jumbo after this.

Roglic seems like a really nice fella. He's a fantastic all round rider. I feel like I should really like him .... but instinctively I don't. I actually punched the air yesterday when Ciccone won. I feel it was an irrational, reflex response. Maybe it's the jersey, I don't know.

Evenepoel still has 3 guys, Roglic still has... 1. While QS have been doing all the heavy lifting so far.
That's because Kuss is the only proper climber with Roglic. I wonder how their Giro is going to go. What is Kelderman doing? TDF or Giro? Maybe Bouwman will be better by the time the Giro starts.

Although where is Kruijswijk? Gesink has an excuse due to his crash.

Obviously they should be able to follow when the peloton is still this big. It's not like this QS team consists of super climbers. It was Serry who choked half of Jumbo.

Foss did say he had been sick after Paris-Nice, but then again most riders have usually been sick when they don't perform. Roglič doesn't really need more than one guy, but it's obviously not the best look for the team.
