Yesterday‘s winner Groves has improved his climbing quite a bit, and so also lost shoulder muscle. He used to have corny, cannonball-like shoulders, combined with fleshy, big thighs.

In recent times, he lost shoulder and thigh muscle. He now looks less impressive.

So Sam Welsford currently clearly is the #1 sprinter, aesthetically. Sam has shoulders like cannonballs, and brutal front thighs and calves. His strength in the upper body is so massive that he probably could tear apart a carbon handlebar with bare hands. Sam is built of pure muscle from head to toe, and is so strong that he shouldn‘t shake Kelderman‘s hand, to not cause a bone fracture. Welsford furthermore is really broad, and has excellent core stability. A pleasure to watch. He is the road pro who looks like Justin Gatlin, body-wise.

I’m trying to remember if you’ve always been singularly focused on cyclists’ physical appearance or if this is a new, elaborate attempt to troll the forum with increasingly charged verbal fondling of the “little bulls” in helmets.

I'm going to steal this for my dating profile.

Only a small group (3) of attackers today, with Hayter, Martin and Grmay. More chances that it all comes back together again and we'll see Remco and Roglic fight for those bonus seconds. Unless Remco drops everyone of course when he time trials his way up that mountain.

This is, midly put, a non-sequitur, homo-erotic post dangerously closing to a monolog troll. It would be brilliant if it you weren't being serious.

Jumbo were okay letting that 3 man group get ahead but it looks like Quick-Step have taken over & brought the gap right down (it was nearly 5 minutes, now it's just under 3). Also new-Grmay has dropped the other 2 & gone off alone.

Anders Johannessen a DNS today. These two have Greg Oden levels of durability. Terrible knees, myocarditis. You name it, they'll have it. So unlucky.
Apparently its been stomach problems in the Uno-X team during Catalunya. AHJ got problems on stage 1, THJ and Træen on stage 2. While it was quickly overcome by Træen it’s been worse for the twins. Will not be that surprised if Tobias also drops out before Sunday, he seemed to struggle very badly yesterday.

Also in Poland last season Uno-X got their race ruined because of stomach issues. When it happens twice in a relative short space of time, perhaps there are something they can do differently when it comes to the food stuff.
