Mods! Ban this person for posting my real life picture!

With rain Pogacar is even better.
He needs several mountain stages and one really hard to show weakness, but with people as Vingegaard and very difficult with others.
Landa was ok, no super, but ok, with the rest of favourites behind him, and the stage was no perfect for himbut far from him.
I hoped Kuss to be with Landa at least, but maybe he is better with good weather. Anyway the race didnt finish, with very hard stages to come. but it looks like the rest will figh for second.

I think with the duo Landa-Remco, he would not be so quiet...but...

It is marvellous to have people like Pogacar, he is making history with big letters, but I cant add anything to the lot is writted about it, so just to give some times my opinion and be happy for the sport I love.
Your ability to communicate in the English language sure is better in the non Froome threads. 🙄

Demolition job! Good climbers 80-110 seconds behind. When I saw the rain and soaked riders before the climb I knew it wouldn't end well for them, those are hard conditions to perform for non-Teddy guys, he burns glicogene better. Too bad the broadcast was so sh**ty, at some point it looked like Pogi disappeared from the race! GC is set already on stage 2.
Yes, I think the gap is more telling than the climbing time today.

Ok, so I asked my boss if I could take the afternoon off today because I had to watch this "mega premiere" but he told me to get lost.
Now I come here to find out that not only is mou unsurprisingly terrible at keeping promises but you guys are getting all giddy about the shite weather merchant beating a bunch of farmers by not even 1,5 minutes. If Enric Mas manages to finish top 10 in a stage in March, the less said about the race the better.
Looks like I didn't miss anything and my boss was right after all, the bastard.
Also, saying we “watched” the stage today is a bit of a euphemism since for roughly half the climb ( or more) we were looking at clouds, highly pixilated aerial views, or the fixed cam
View of the finish line.

Pogi was hiding with Novak after the piss-stop apparently. Peloton didn’t know where they were. That’s some 1960’s joke.

Yes, I remember reading that Bahamontes would get a Spanish teammate up the road and they would hide somewhere on the roadside or in the sewer, the peloton would gradually get more and more anxious and ride harder as they believed they hadn't caught the breakaway.

You know that Pog is on for a record breaking year when all the deep-state funded trolls genetically engineered in a (Visma) LAB come out of the woodwork trying to tear down Mou of Galilee and his faithful disciples.

The incessant chatter of skeptics and naysayers becomes the backdrop against which Mou of Galilee's triumphs are painted in more vivid colors. Each challenge, each obstacle thrown in his path by the shadowy figures operating behind the scenes, only serves to forge his resolve stronger, his strategies more ingenious. With the unwavering support of his disciples, who stand by him through thick and thin, their collective spirit unbroken, they navigate the tumultuous waters of the season.

As the year progresses, it becomes increasingly clear that Mou of Galilee is not just playing the game; he is redefining it. The trolls, despite their relentless efforts, find themselves outmaneuvered at every turn. The very tactics they employ to sow discord and doubt among the ranks only fuel the fire of determination burning within Mou and his team. They transform every attempt to derail their journey into opportunities to demonstrate their unity, their skill, and their undying passion for the game.

When the dust settles and the records are shattered, it will be the spirit, skill, and solidarity of Pogacar and his disciples that remain etched in the annals of history. In this record-breaking year, under the guidance of Tadej Pogacar, the Lord of the race, they will have not only surpassed expectations but also crafted a legacy that will resonate through the ages.

Amen.

Got goosebumps reading this.

What a post.

GT doing his usual 'I can't be bothered' grand tour prep.

G has only a few miles left in the legs and he knows better than anyone at nearly 38 years of age he has to build very slowly to avoid injury and ensure he recovers

Since he started on the track as a world and Olympic champion, then a loyal domestique for years and then a leader and champion its a wonder he is racing at all , such is the amount of miles and injuries he has gone through

Also he is going to both the Giro and Tour and I guess he hopes to be competitive in both

Whereas Pog is tearing up mountains now when maybe he'd be better off keeping it for the second half of the Tour

I see he had the help of Almeida on the attack. It was the only team with 2 strong men ahead.
Landa was the second stronger and he was according what he said at the start waiting for other cyclist reaction, he wanst second favurite (except for people like me). Bad weather is good for Pogacar, much better than hot weather.
So everything was in his favour today.
But when you put so many time to the second there is no doubt he is clearly superior
