To be honest i feel that Rogla, Pogi and Jonas, maybe Remco, aren't all that worried about the rest anyway.

Roglic has to be a bit worried after his showing at PN
Remco I think is very worried about Pog and Vinge in a GT...positively hyper ventilates
Vinge would be worried about Pog in any race but not so much the Tour as has cracked him two years in a row
Pog doesn't look like he ever worries about anything but wining the Tour must be something he has reasoned as not as important as classics and the Giro to keep any Tour worries at bay

So based on what we have seen so far in this season would Jonas crack in this race if participating?

P.S. Then we can extrapolate the sentiment at Itzulia.
Do you think Jonas is worried about pogi get a gap of 1 minute in hard stages against the domestique of Remco?! Bernal finished 1 minute behind, and Jonas was dropping him in 3rd climbs in O Gran camino.

After the statements of a new coach, a guy who can do 8.5 w/kg in 12 min , a FTP of 6.58 w/kg, 7.5 w/kg in 15 minutes, 7 w/kg in 20 minutes, 6.5 w/kg in +30 minutes, i thought we would see an ET on Catalunya who was going to win every mountain stage with 3/4 min of advantage.
It was disappointing, the same Pogacar of carpegna.

The only one who improved the level in comparation with March/springs of last years, is Jonas who was doing bad perfomances in carpegna TA 2021 and in PN 2022 and this year he did was more stronger.

And you think that Pogi went all in? Didn't look like it to me.

Won't that be the same, just with Vingegaard?
Good question. Because each is a viable threat to the other, they might wait longer to attack to make the best use of their teams and not risk blowing up. Pog’s long distance raid today wasn’t much of a risk: even he got hunger knock and got reeled in. He could still just recover in the front group and win with his sprint at the end.

For me was a little bot dissapointing, but anyway a great stage, a great day of cycling and another exhibition from Pogacar.
When you put a stage like this, even in a situation with a great dominant, the result is spectacular.
Yup, beautiful stage.

Nah.

Remco I think is very worried about Pog and Vinge in a GT...positively hyper ventilates

Possibly, still i feel that PN benefited him in this regard.

Vinge would be worried about Pog in any race but not so much the Tour as has cracked him two years in a row

To be worried at other races bar Tour? Don't know if i agree about rationale behind this one.

Pog doesn't look like he ever worries about anything but wining the Tour must be something he has reasoned as not as important as classics and the Giro to keep any Tour worries at bay

Considering Pogi is doing the Tour too, somehow i doubt the plan A is to finish second.

So reading that and in your opinion Jonas would win this race if participating?

After the statements of a new coach, a guy who can do 8.5 w/kg in 12 min , a FTP of 6.58 w/kg, 7.5 w/kg in 15 minutes, 7 w/kg in 20 minutes, 6.5 w/kg in +30 minutes, i thought we would see an ET on Catalunya who was going to win every mountain stage with 3/4 min of advantage.

I see, indeed such data paired with the actual performance, doesn't look good for Pogi.

The only one who improved the level in comparation with March/springs of last years, is Jonas who was doing bad perfomances in carpegna TA 2021 and in PN 2022 and this year he did was more stronger.

OK then, Jonas is peaking too, much better ATM then Pogi. Looking forward to Itzulia.

Any idea what happened with van Wilder this week?

UAE, Paris-Nice + Catalunya is obviously not a usually preferred race combination, but he stated this as one of his main goals pre-season.

All these barely putting 3:31 into Remo's domestique and do you think Jonas's scared? comments are a serious downer on Pog's week-long holidays in Spain.

Give the man a break, he has to go back to winning 1 day races next month

I do wonder how ill Pogacar has been this week. Ever since the "Big nature break" he does not seem at 100%, which might sound strange given yesterday's performance but he was suffering and struggling. Even Landa thought he could catch him.
Any who, this race is all about the numbers for Pogacar, who knows what Vingegaard and Roglic can push out.

Steinhauser is on the move again. I was looking forward to see what he can do today after a strong showing yesterday, but this group seems doomed already: it's only him, Janssens, Wood, Andersen and Okamika.
