I don't mind Ayuso because he's a bit of a character but can't deny this whole thing is hilarious, one of those niche moments when you think UAE could've really done with Molano as a domestique in this race.

It was, but then Toby included Tirreno 2016 and I went with that.

Right, of course. I don't think I knew that back then, though, I think I only caught on to that rule during that year's Vuelta where Movistar and Sky were same time and after stage 2 you could see on GC that the TTT didn't count.

Ayuso probably more chance to beat Roglic in the final sprint than in an intermediate. It's more chaotic, downhill, with more guys participating.

I do think we have to substract from Roglic' clutch reputation for losing that Giro prologue by like 0.0003 seconds or whatever number the Dutch authorities imagined.
