I secretly optimistic this is going to be one of the more enjoyable Vueltas.
During the first rest day, I expect us to think things have been shaped up, then we'll feel stupid on the 2nd, and still have no idea who'll win all through the 3rd week. Not that it's new for the Vuelta, but at least this time we're spared from 3 additional days of waiting things to happen. And also because the Giro may end up totally underwhelming.

The peloton is not giving the break much room, 1:30, 2:00 minutes max... I don't even remember any wins from a break in the first stage of a Grand Tour... Too many "fresh legs" are interested to wear the leader's jersey after the first day;)

Some of these riders man... Their chain drop and they look "lost" to put it back on themselves... Let their mechanic to do it...

The opportunists need to be smart in this Vuelta - The best break opportunities will be from stage nine onwards.

Movistar really wants to get into the red jersey today... Pulling the peloton quite committed, with the whole team...
